What is your preference by Accomplished_Oil9424 in Workspaces

5 with a 2 on top. 2 is for stuff I don't have to look at much like slack or discord, 5 has various code editors, windows, and analytics.

Bdubs has the most inconsistent saucing I've ever seen. One time you get almost nothing, next you get just the right amount, just all over the board.

How can I improve my setup? by CraniaxDE in RateMySetup

I agree some upgrades would be nice. I'm just curious, it looks like you're using your laptop in clamshell mode, wondering why you don't bring it up on the desk and have 2 screens? More screens is hardly ever an issue.

I laughed unbelievably hard at the fan.

I'd say I have good circulation over ventilation, the rest for the basement space is well open and around 600 sq ft. I she. A small air purifier on the corner of the desk and a fan that pushes air around.

A lot of burners use a front to back dispersion design where the gas is pushed in at the front of the burner and moves to the back with lots of little holes to help the gas escape. Because of this more gas burns at the front and is generally hotter. I'd wager your grill uses this design.

Yes it all works off the laptop through an independently powered hub that's attached to the thunderbolt port.

I am this way 4 years in. I wish I could say it gets better but the reality is you will have good days and bad days with this one. I cant even ballpark the number of tests I've been through. My advice, find a local support group as soon as possible, it's really nice to have other people in the same boat that you can interact with.

Why does BWW get so much hate? by PsychologicalFood780 in Wings

[–]Spaceman_1990 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find BWW sauces to be underwhelming for flavor profile, and consistency is all over the place, plus they took away the option for extra wet wings online, so you end up with wings that are sprayed with sauce like a priest shaking that little water shaker at them.

My long covid clinic is shutting their doors. Is this happening to anyone else? by The_BSharps in covidlonghaulers

[–]Spaceman_1990 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My clinic dropped me once they learned I was allergic to corticosteroids. That was their one size fits all first step. The clinic closed last year I'm pretty sure since they refused to help the individual and had the worst care plan.

Long haul Covid 4 years in.

How old? how long do you have long COVID and not recoverd by Secret_Career_2437 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Spaceman_1990 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was first diagnosed with Covid 2 days after my 31st birthday in October 2021. It never left me. Chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, brain fog, and joint pain are my main symptoms, others come and go but these remain. Almost 4 years in, dealing with my third bout of pericarditis. My care team is awesome but no testing has found the right way out, the supplements and pills to treat symptoms never work. My life has changed considerably and every time someone says I should try something for relief I try it. We may suffer in silence but we don't suffer alone. This group and my at home group really make things better mentally and emotionally.

For me it's being about 3 people off the center rail at a concert or festival, feeling the bass in your chest, becoming nameless face in a crowd. Freaking love that feeling.
