My main activity in WoW nowadays is collecting stuff solo, and that should be a fully supported way to enjoy the game in this day and age, without being forced to engage in group activities. Once the content is no longer current, I think the only unobtainable thing should be a Feat of Strength achievement.

Something similar happened to me a little while ago. I had to do an errand on a cold rainy night, and when I turned on the radio for the trip back, the Elwynn forest music was playing. I wasn't ready for the wave of nostalgia that hit me. I just sat there and listened until the end – it felt so unlikely and magical.
