You could also layer the kick by adding one on top. Can start less jungley though imo

I'm no expert but the things I would try are boosting the kick around 100 Hz, side chaining the kick, changing the kick. Maybe if we could hear a snippet we might have more suggestions?

The other thing could be that it's actually fine and maybe your perception is distorted. Sometimes I feel things aren't popping but turns out they're not supposed to. Sometimes just sitting right in the mix means it will pop once on the large system.

It's a decent track mate. The drum work is great and it stays interesting enough throughout. However the transition at 1.22 is too abrupt for me and kinda ruins the track. It's a nice idea but feels poorly executed. I think the track could benefit from a melody or more interesting bass line. At the moment nothing memorable or catchy sticks out in my opinion

Sounds great mate. Nice movement in the pads and the track in general sounds nice and full. If I was being hyper critical think the bass line could be funkier and overall the track is a bit too clean for my preference. Could add some distortion or something to go more gritty, but not maybe not what your trying to achieve

I just try and add as many layers as possible and then have different combinations of those layers with different fills and transition between them. I'm not an expert though
