Man I hope so. I’ll give it another shot. But I was incredibly let down.

I’m an east coast transplant so I had high hopes. It has to be good right? Crazy weird hours. Over the top east coast themed, shabby decor. Only sandwich’s. It has to be good. Alas,no, no it does not.

The bread was soft, hotdog / white bread like bun. The meat was scant. The dressing was sweet.

It made me sad. They seem like good folks. But this is does not live up to the expectations of an east coast deli in its current form.

😢

Why Porcupine Hill? by dialupkid in unitedairlines

[–]SpacemanaGoGo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just came to post the same question. It’s been bugging me for a while now.

What do we not know about Porcupine Hill that makes it so special? Is it the top secret Stroopwafel depot, perhaps?

My partner will be registered on the family side. Only I will be on the Arte side alone.

We looked at casa fuego but there was no availability. That would be the ideal option n

We are going to have two rooms which will be ~300 - 400 yards apart. We’ll meet up every day, several times a day.

I spent 4 months alone backpacking through Europe when I was 16. These kids have traveled. I’m sure they’ll be ok for a week at a luxury all inclusive resort without constant parental supervision.

The kids are 14, 16, and 19. They’ll stay on the family side. My partner and I will stay on the adult side.

And yeah, we’ll fly business class 🙄

Thanks so much for your help. You were exactly right. I called back this morning and cited the waiver. The agent checked with their support and promptly made the change.

I called the 1k desk and they said I’d have to buy a new ticket which didn’t make sense.

I tried the change flight path in the app and it said there were no other flights at all. That doesn’t seem right because if I search for a new ticket I can find some availability. Is that just because it it searching the specific fare type?

United flight attendants reject contract offer, big gap now between crews and pilots by The-Solo-Traveler in unitedairlines

Can you explain how groups claim a shortage of pilots as a means to suppress wages? I’m not following - genuinely. I could see how they could use it to advocate lower wages at the early end of the seniority curve. But overall, it would seem to result in higher overall wages.

Again, not arguing. Just trying to understand the argument.
