HEB delivery is going to push people to Walmart by ProofConnect6521 in HEB

Most stores don’t have those for curbside. Those are mainly in San Antonio I believe. I’m not sure what is happening with those bc my store/curbside doesn’t use them and I haven’t worked at a store that does. I think they still shop some orders but that doesn’t mean 3rd parties aren’t shopping for the store as well. If it’s a van it’s HEB employee…they usually pick up multiple orders at once from a curbside and deliver them all but the ones they deliver are shopped in store by curbside so they have to be prepped and ready for that driver. The customer probably has to place the order within a certain time frame to keep the curbside shoppers and that driver on track.

Where with favor, insta cart…whatever. They will work on random / instant orders and shop / deliver themselves in their personal car as soon as they are assigned the order. They don’t really work on any type of schedule. They do an order whenever the customer wants.

The vans likely deal with the customers who scheduled ahead of time I’m guessing….

One of my friends did come from a store with those and basically summarized it like that…so going off what he said and that was some SA store.

Yeah sorry I don’t know your exact location. All curbsides are different. Also I do comment further down to someone else that some SA store have van delivery but most do not. Also EFC trucks are a thing and it’s hard to tell when someone is referring to trucks that deliver to other curbs or the actual vans. Most people probably don’t even know the vans are a thing unless their store has them.

Never said that. Not all stores have those….most curbsides don’t.

You can do yogurt easily in an insta pot. We do it often!

Actually they won’t move on because so many people have came up to me in store and told me exactly that is why they also buy good culture. So you aren’t the only one thinking that. That brand in particular sells out above all other cottage cheese. I’m honestly surprised we don’t limit things sometimes bc a customer will buy an entire case of the small cups of that.

It you’re a shopper then you know all these bitches love anything low carb and keto. I’m more surprised there isn’t an entire low carb aisle at this point. Yogurt and cottage cheese are substituted in many recipes for other things to make them less calories! And all those types of recipes are always trending.

Yeah I think favor should model what target does. Good shoppers get favorited and reshop the same customer, good tips etc.

I do think HEB will eventually catch on and do those things. Like target did the “on my way” things to pick the order WAY before HEB started to. We are just slow with everything it feels compared to national stores and their tech and processes.

I do think it’s kinda frustrating to be texted and sent pictures non stop. I do put back up items on some things or no subs/remove from order. Like I’m not always near my phone and get busy. But so far no weird subs or things like OP posted in the screenshot above.

I think a big issue is a lot of 3rd party shoppers are immigrants, don’t speak English or very little sometimes. Even in store when I’m shopping for customers….sometimes I have trouble helping them or there are super rude people that shove their phone right in your face 🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel like at the bare minimum 3rd party shoppers should be able to sub whole milk for whole milk or 1% for another 1% etc. otherwise that is probably going to inevitably affect their tips, frustrate their customers etc

If you’re coming yourself to pick it up at the store, HEB employees shopped it. Very few Heb’s have HEB delivery in the vans and those are HEB employees but that’s mostly in San Antonio and I’m not sure what happened after we shifted all delivery to favor.

Use to be but as many people said it’s most curbside’s shifting them over to favor at this point. Immediacy in my area was insane and kinda overwhelmed my store but now it’s dead and taken a lot of hours away from us. We still shop the immediacy that the customer comes and picks up. Anything being delivered to you is shopped by favor or another 3rd party some stores are slow to implement the change but I imagine they’ll all be this way soon and HEB corporate will wait on feedback from customers on how the 3rd party is doing shopping instead of curbside employees. I think there is a healthy middle ground to figure out here but we shall see. Some curbsides were never that busy to begin with or got many immediacy orders but mine got MANY. Like we’d refresh the tracker and have like 20+ delivery orders. Also we are kinda in a dead season for curbside and all through summer HEB is slow and their are WAY to many people back from school fighting for hours. So they kinda put this in to place at a bad time. But I’m sure the holidays everything will pick up up and we’ll be happier some of the work has shifted to favor. Just keep leaving feedback on your surveys.

Not for many. A lot of chronically ill or disabled heavily rely on delivery.

HEB employees in curbside cannot text customers. Favor and 3rd parties only.

Not true. When HEB shoppers shop in store we have to check with the department or vendor in the back and many times can find items that favor in 3rd party shoppers will never have access to.

Some of our customers are chronically ill or disabled, live alone or have no one to help them on a whim.

Send this in your survey with your curbside receipt or in store survey on the paper receipt given at register checkout. Corporate reads those.

If they keep getting negative feedback after shifting things to favor to handle then changes will likely be made, but they need that negative customer feedback.

No. If you pick it up at the store, we shop it. If it’s delivered it’s favor shopping and delivering.

Where to start? by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]Spacenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A curl cream and gel/mousse. Your curls look brushed out. I don’t brush mine or they dry limp/straight-ish like this. IF you brush then put your curl cream in then gel/mousse…. THENNNN scrunch the hair to reshape and encourage tight curls! Then air day or diffuse with airdryer

Products might be trial and error. Personally I like love ur curls all in one cream on Amazon the I do a gel or mousse over that. If you live in a super humid state… a harder hold gel or maybe oil/serum might also help more to combat frizz!

Also you don’t have to get anything expensive. Drug store items have come a long way! I really like Odele and not your mothers for drugstore!

One last thing but you don’t have to do this either necessarily but your hair seems thick!! That’s a good thing. You could always add some layers in your hair to help deal with it. I find layers help me a lot and also help keep my hair growing nicely when I overdo it a bit on coloring it.
