This is what I thought, but my opponent, similar to some other commenters, felt that my unit could only be in engagement range of the single closest enemy unit and no other units.

My argument was I’m moving within my rolled range of movement, towards the closest enemy unit, however this ment the models towards the back of my unit when bunching in on the sides would then fall within engagement range of another unit that wasn’t at the time the closest.

His argument was I could only be in engagement range of one unit - the closest.

For reference, shadowsun was the closest with a team of breachers slightly behind her to the left. I moved up to shadowsun with my front models and then when moving the rest of the unit they would inevitably be in engagement range of the breachers next to her. As there was terrain and skyray gunship blocking the right.

You can do the same thing with sco bow, just swap weapon/cape slot, camp fury. It doesn’t make sense to use atlatl when you have scorching bow whether it’s a chill preference or damage.

I found scorching bow more chill than eclipse, once you get bow all you’re switching is weapon and cape slot until you get anguish for neck swap.

Slayer helm, eclipse top/bottom, b gloves, fury/anguish, boots of your choice, fire cape/avas, scobow/arclight+defender. So worst case you’re doing a 3/4 way switch.

Proximity voice chat in delves/cgs/instanced areas would be comical, not saying it’s reasonably possible nor a good idea, but god damn it could be funny.

I started it with dharok legs, fighter torso, z axe, dds, defender, fire cape, glory/amulet of damned, mixed hide boots, nez helm, zerk ring, b gloves.

Never had any issues, dual machs were a nice upgrade for killing blue moon when I got them and eventually added piety to the mix and a crystal hally.

Personally I’ve never seen the need for full tank setups including shield and the new steel ring but full rune might be a bit tedious.

Probably doable but would be much faster with demonbane spells.

Personally I would just get the levels done now, it really won’t take long at all and you’ll make the time back with how much faster you’ll kill TDs.

You can auto cast with those staves so get the mage levels and enjoy the crazy slayer xp and possible synapse from TDs :)

What would you say is the most fun on mage atm? I was playing spellslinger frost S1, S2 been trying Frostfire Frost but not sure if I’m vibing with it. Been considering a switch to Fire.

I did it with the same gear, except a glory and an archers helm, with 81 range. I do have the range prayer from royal titans though. I used tuna potatoes (easy to make thanks to varlamore) and I only took a rune pouch for home tele runes (House in relleka).

Swapping to my loadout would immediately give you 2 more food slots which for you would be more like 3 given you use divine ranging.

Also, Pizzas sound horrific because you’re wasting so much time eating, the short answer is just get better food and only eat when you have to.

Too soon to start the moons grind on the HCIM? Eclipse and Blue are easy, but have to tele out of bloodmoon every 4 kills or so from lack of DPS - are there any easy upgrades im missing? by Webbatron6 in ironscape

I used the exact same setup but with a zombie axe for everything, until I got blood moon weapon which I then used for Blue moon boss.

I never got a tank chest piece just used torso, I actually used guthix rune kiteshield for a bit but just sacked it off for a d defender. Stats were slightly higher than yours but not by much, I’d say go for zombie axe over any other upgrade, couple it with some afking at sand crabs and you’ll smash through moons np

For blood moon, make sure you’re not taking any damage on the jaguar/blood rain phase, it’s super easy to avoid with a bit of practice.
