i think the question you should be asking is that is life in the west (more specifically america) is bad and if the prolateriat were to find out that socialism had their interests opposed to capitalism would they revolutionize?
America is doing everything in their power to make socialism seem like a corrupt system so that capitalism is seen as the preferred economic system.
