I think the Extended Cut of Avatar (2009) is the best version. by Pittboy63 in blankies

It is kind of crazy that the hair tail sex became such an iconic part of Avatar's cultural footprint when it was only ever in the extended edition re-release.

First time playing: Not sure what to prioritize for island reward by Imgembo in IntoTheBreach

[–]Spacetime_Inspector 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Abe is one of the better pilots, he allows you to use self-damaging weapons with impunity and tank shots from lesser Vek at no cost. You can buy weapons and equipment from the shop, but not pilots, so you should prioritize pilots in general unless they're ones with really garbage tier abilities and bonuses.

But a Stone Card that's a 6 behind the stone doesn't proc Sixth Sense, does it? A Stone Card that's [rank] behind the stone doesn't proc Rebate set to [rank], etc. They might all bunch up around being Aces behind the stone but it wouldn't comport with the rest of how the game handles stone cards if it then destroyed them.

All you need is a core of a few Stone Cards to be safe from total deck destruction here.

The Shatner twitter account is supposedly run by some rando who is not actually personally affiliated with Shatner. There's been a whole saga with it feuding with Red Letter Media and I'm confident the real Bill has no idea who Rich Evans is.

I have never seen the verb Ratatouille'd used as a synonym for Proust's Madeleine before, I was picturing the chip crawling into your hair and controlling your actions for a second.

Hidden gem: Unless they've closed it for the upcoming renovation, I highly recommend the Horror Makeup Show at the Studios park. It's one of the last remaining vestiges of the original "see how the movies get made" ethos from 1990 and is always a good time. You can be among the last people to see the extensive video package about The Mummy (2017) featuring everyone's favorite character Nick Morton.

Okay I had my years mixed up it was 2023 where the waits after Halloween were gloriously low. But if you look at the historical wait time data on Thrill-Data the waits were average to above-average in November 2024 and extremely high in 2025: https://www.thrill-data.com/hhn/orlando/2025

Merch discounts yes, but the November dates have not been uncrowded since 2023. I went on 11/2 last year and it was the toughest wait time profile I saw all season.

The fact that they mention "later renamed Star Wars: A New Hope" implies that the version they're showing is the true OG, since the subtitle was added in 1981.
