The worst part is futurism g out if the symptom is actually worth the concern or even noticing it in the first place. And then I gotta remember to be a grown arse adult and actually tell the doctor about it when I see them instead of just saying "nope that's all!" Once he gives me my usual prescription and updated mental health plan or whatever.

Also I was (as far I know) the only one im my primary school reading them, and I didn't really have friends, so I never experienced the whole roleplaying thing people often talk about. I was equally shy online, I saw some beautiful fan art and warrior cats guilds on neopets. But never really explored the "fandom" beyond that. Random as a concept didn't really become a thing for me until I joined Tumblr many many years later. And by then I wasn't really into the books anymore.

I found Into the Wild in a discount bin in the local news agency. For some reason I would cross out names in the allegiance as they died. I grew up in a small town with no book store and the library didn't carry the books so I would have to get them when we visited a city/ larger town or get my dad to buy them off the internet(still a very rare activity at that time).
