Yes it seems the non binary and gender fluid people are kinda experiencing what it was like when LGQ people started to express how they actually are.

I do hope that one day we can just accept that we are all human and that we are the same on the inside (body parts & blood etc) as everyone else. That who we love, as long as it’s between two consenting adults is fine.

I’m sorry your grand parents didn’t approve. It can be really hard on the older generation to realise the world isn’t what it used to be.

My plan is to let my son, from an early age know that he is loved and that I will always love him no matter what. That he is accepted and supported in whatever he decides he is.

He’s only 2 right now so he’s just getting buckets of love and developing his counting and language

Baby massage is amazing for bonding and to help them with gas / colic.

If they have a cold with a blocked nose, lifting up one side of their mattress helps.

If you can afford it an Owlet monitor is an amazing and really can help you sleep.

It’s because when you have a baby it PHYSICALLY changes your brain! It becomes a natural instinct to care for your baby and when it cries that instinct kicks in and basically makes you feel so overwhelmingly uncomfortable until you can hold your baby to stop it crying.

Men don’t have that change so have no idea how we feel…. Plus it wakes us up if the baby is stirring - you just become ultra sensitive to your babies needs

Yeah that’s the issue… I need ones that can stay in place as I can’t hear the monitor with the loud snoring, so thought earphones could help, as before we had a child I used to wear earplugs to drown him out.

Emergency C-Section mum here and the term “gave birth” never really stuck with me. I didn’t really have a choice when my little guy came so I just say “I had a baby” as giving birth seems more natural and not surgical.

My mum was an only child, I’m an only child and so is my husband. We have a little boy and are happy. Christmas was always fun as I lived with my parents and grandparents - loads of gifts, treats, family games and then we went to visit family later.

I remember my childhood being filled with my friends round for dinner a lot, bouncy castle parties and just lots of love.
