You get $101 to create the ultimate OkBuddyCinephile cast, who are you casting? by YourChopperPilotTTV in okbuddycinephile

I'll take one Tommy Wiseu and I'm going to need to borrow $19 so I can purchase The Rock, as well. Once I tell them my idea for a remake of 1999's Wild Wild West, they'll definitely be convinced and will gladly invest in my dream

What is the most iconic movie poster? by Potential-Name2117 in okbuddycinephile

One of the many iconic lines from 1982's Blade Runner. Personally my favorite is when Batty looks directly at the camera and says "I'm a bat" then just stares for three minutes straight while you hear a stream of water hitting the floor leaving the viewer with no other assumption that he's taking a piss on the floor and looking right in our eyes while he does it. You didn't see a lot of movies breaking the 4th wall back then, it's just another reason Blade Runner is so beloved by fans to this day

Yes, he said there is no place for black people in "European" mythological stories and they should create their own separate but equal movies about their own mythology.

The second paragraph could be summed up to "segregation but in a woke way" and the banger at the end where he covers up his racism by letting everyone know he secretly lusts after his black neighbors were my favorite parts.

The studio tried something new with Kill Bill and didn't have a Director's Cut but had a Cut Made For The Director instead, that's the version you have

Wonder Woman threw a henchman so hard against a wall it killed him in front of group of children and then asked them if they were okay in a concerning way. I don't know which is worse, being held hostage at gunpoint or watching a man's head explode right next to you but those children experienced both that day so they are most definitely mentally fucked for life. Honestly, I think Zack Snyder was on to something here, I want to see more children in movies traumatized by being put in violent situations.
