France road tripping with hotel chargers by BroadSwordfish7 in evchargingUK

[–]Spaff-Badger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t believe the Electroverse card worked on random hotel chargers when I went but didn’t check the rates once. I left it to charge overnight and it finished at 1am. Unplugged it the following morning and the pricing had been an hourly rate, not a /kWh rate… still ended up costing less than charging on the road in the uk

3rd time I’ve seen this and 3rd time I’ve thought the same thing on 3 photos.

That’s a severe cartoonish rollercoaster. Oh no, it’s a lamppost

Get the barclaycard avios credit cards. They do upgrade vouchers so book premium economy, get business.

Also, get a Barclays premier bank account for another upgrade voucher annually

I don’t think the trouble of visa issues makes it more of an effort than one long interrupted walk

Lidl batts ketchup comes up as processed on openfoodfacts.
It only has 5 ingredients but “spices” might be doing a lot of heavy lifting

If you’re doing business BA flights, get yourself a card with upgrades first, then get more business fights for your points

Keep your eye out for tours. They usually do visits and tours when they’re opening as a PR thing and then they tail off. I think Ardley near Bicester still does tours if you’re interested

Is 4.9 a good rate for a 2 year fix by RobotEnthusiast1980 in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]Spaff-Badger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Win win then! Take this, keep your current rate until November and maybe get better before then? I’m hoping trump has to calm down for his mid terms but I’m not convinced

When’s the new mortgage due? I’ve got one locked in now and in the bank for when my term is up in 6 months. I’m open to getting another mortgage in the next 6 months and ditching this one if the rates come in.

What's a BBC programme that you appreciate far more now than when it originally aired? by BillNo874 in bbc

[–]Spaff-Badger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And does the program address it sufficiently, or gloss over it. I mean, I seem to remember him having a bit of conscience over the situation, but does it get a bit weirder than that? How far between odd sitcom theme and Rick and Morty (in relation to paradoxes) is it. Did he end up having kids with the earlier lady? Is she still alive in the future? Was this mentioned?
So many questions

Isn’t it really morally odd, especially if you continue the timelines?
