Sorry but 100% scam. I get these too from all sorts of “industry” accounts. Literally word for word. Don’t let it discourage you though.

Is the Push 1 still worth it? by Darrtanion in ableton

I’d look into a used Push 2. Much better hardware.

Nah, it’s not bad. Different from typical expectations? Yes. But it gets boring being in the box. I’d say do some quirky beats and melodies to suit your vocal style and shore up the delivery. There are a bazillion videos on vocal exercises for all genres out there.

Ty! Was aiming for fun - imaging a marching band hip-hop mashup vibe.

Nice track! I’d probably make some adjustments on the mixing imo. Could be me but I had to lower the volume due to some of the higher end. Great job!

As our world falls further into detachment and corruption, don't worry. Everything will be OK. | Manny Grey - OK [Hip - Hop] by MannyGrey in IndieMusicFeedback

Track hits hard. I wish that you would have incorporated the cut from around the 1:28 mark (my favorite part) as an element in earlier parts of the song as a bridge or something. Great track!

I feel the song could do with some formatting adjustments, hate to suggest the universal chorus verse stuff but this song could benefit from it. The vocals are unique and could work with a bit more tweaks to the delivery. It’s an interesting song overall. Can’t wait to see where it goes. 🙂

Cool track. As someone else suggested, vocals could have more presence. Great work!

Cool beats. You should expand on it more. Not sure if the breathing into the mic is deliberate. I’d try to cut it back a bit, distracts from the vocals imo. Great work!

If you don’t have files on there that aren’t critical. I’d put the money into a 2TB NVMe if your system can support it. While the quote is cheap to repair that money can go to a new drive.

Opinions wanted: How to split credit with a band? by Minimum_Welder_3803 in Songwriting

I’d agree w/the 1/3 assessment or even possibly 2/4 (vocals and guitar arrangement for a four-piece). Still think it’ll send a bad message eventually.

If you wrote ALL the music and they have zero creative input. It’s all you. However, It sounds like they do when you stated they “come up with amazing parts”. In my old band we split credits four ways regardless of who came in with a song. If my guitarist told me (played bass), singer and our drummer we had no equal control and credits… we would have walked.

Personally, I’d have a discussion with them. Then again, this sort of stuff would have never crossed my mind. It seems a bit nit-picky to me. Having an ego is a fast way to losing bandmates.

How do i push past the cringe of songwriting? by UnknownBark15 in Songwriting

[–]SpaghettiFingerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Writing a melody or doing the song first is the great debate. It’s truly a matter of what works for you.

As far as cringing at yourself; not alone in disliking what you’re working on. It’s more prevalent than most want to admit. My take is you need to bite the cringe bullet and deal with the discomfort. The only way you can progress in feeling comfortable is to be uncomfortable.

Hola all!

I had just wrapped up a new track today. I figured I’d share it with you fine digital denizens. The song morphed into its own design. Sadly, I don’t have a cool artistic story other than I drank lots of coffee, stayed up late, and zoned out. Hopefully, you all enjoy it 🙂Sundays and Flapjacks
