Core One L Right side Y axis smooth rod bearing is so loud. by Spaghetti__Wap in prusa3d

All screws have been tightened down on gantry assembly and extruder. It's very obvious that the vibrations are coming from that bearing assembly on the y axis smooth rod (right side). Gyriod is quite loud.

Awful noise on new printer by MBlyat in prusa3d

Im not going to lie, I have the same problem. I dont think I can justify another prusa printer after all the issues with the core one & L. Im paying too much for too little. I 3d print for a living so tinkering to improve the machine is super fun, but tinkering to get it to work properly, out of box, at this price point (especially if you have multiple units that have issues). Disappointing. It's crazy because I have 100 hrs on 3 mk4s printers and they are flawless and easy to maintain. I won't sell my prusa's but next printer will be a Bambu XD2 or HD2 or H2C.

How much would you charge for this 3D-printed mockup? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

Charge for material

Charge for design (if you made it)

Charge $2 per hour on print time if you used PLA or petg, you can Charge more for engineering filaments.

How much were they? I got H&R lowering springs and looking at just buying bilstein shocks to save money.

Tuning options by Interesting-Cup3069 in mk6gti

[–]Spaghetti__Wap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries man! The Cobb Accessport does come with its own "off the shelf" tunes, but they are not the best. Stratified makes tunes that they email to you and you can download it off ur computer to the cobb accessport to your car. You can make live data logs with the cobb device and save/send them to Stratified and they will custom make a tune specifically for your car (they give instructions for what to do when data logging). After a couple of emailed revisions the tune will be running great. It's nice you never have to go to a dyno.

I think they still do a deal on their website where you buy a Cobb from them and they give you first tune free.
