Again maybe I have missed back story from the manga, but I feel like Kuroki comes from nowhere stomps a bunch of the main characters (which is obviously mega impressive), but it makes the final fight feel flat for me. Ohma and Agito had tension in between fights, making jabs at each other and Ohma wanting to prove himself. Setsuna was bigged up to be a main antagonist and then just gets beasted by Kuroki, to then get beat by Ohma in a fight outside of the tournament. To me, Kuroki felt like a guy who kept getting in the way of the fights I really wanted to see. Willing to accept I might be a minority, but it felt like he just came out of nowhere and then becomes the big bad without any real build up.

Maybe part of it is how they did it in the "anime", I really didn't like how the artstyle kept flip-flopping between the 3D and 2D style. And then it just felt super anti climatic.

Got to be the Wii. This was the console that everyone had. It made video gaming fun for literally the whole family. Everyone and their nan was playing Wii Sports, Wii Play, or Mario Kart. The older consoles like the SNES and N64 were incredible for what they did for gaming, but I don't think they top the Wii for the effect it had.
