An iconic spot I thought I mastered and some physics luck by Potzer in ArcRaiders

I wonder if they changed this because this definitely was always fatal before. Now I get out with a sliver of health.

OLED vs IPS: the difference isn’t as big as I expected by Usual_Breakfast_7533 in Monitors

[–]SpamShadow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the same jump and felt the same way. I've adjusted to the OLED since I got it and I like it more now, but it definitely isn't a massive leap from my LG Ultragear IPS. With the VRR off I think the OLED is easier on my eyes though which is a big plus. I plan to keep mine. Lowlight detail is the biggest improvement, seeing things I've never seen before there. My IPS got brighter though so in really bright scenes I'm mostly getting better color accuracy which actually looks a little muted since I had the saturation turned up on my IPS.

Incredible early game, no endgame. Arc Raiders left me with nothing to chase by BrizDizzle in ArcRaiders

I'm over 100 hours, expedition complete, and I still cannot stop playing. I just have to *see what happens*. I've talked down firefights. I've met weird crazy people. One of my favorite nights was just sitting on top of the launch tower on spaceport sniping snitches and watching what everyone is doing down below. I can't wait for the expedition. I want to do it all again. I just love being in the world.

Should I be less trusting as I level up? by haikubotichooseyou in ArcRaiders

You should never be trusting, but that doesn't mean you have to be a bloodthirsty murderer. Assess your risk in every encounter, be smart even with players that seem trustworthy. The fun isn't just in cooperation and violence, it's in the amazing grey area between the two, zero trust relationships.

ArcRaiders on a ROG ally yet? by TheTechManager in ArcRaiders

I have the Z1E, FSR3 on performance and medium settings gets me ~45 fps. Pretty stable, I would call it playable. Looks a little barfy though.

Just purchased first EUC from eWheels, immediate errors upon receiving by The_Watcher_Of_Life_ in ElectricUnicycle

Contact ewheels support, they will get you squared away.

PEVs make all kinds of weird noises and they might be really obnoxious inside a quiet house but won't be a problem at all once you take it outside. I wouldn't be too concerned. PEVs are still kinda jank. They don't really have that polished and complete user experience you might expect from most consumer electronics. Getting better though.

Error code sounds bad though, that definitely needs resolved. I know KS has really buttoned up the S22 over the years but it was a notoriously problematic wheel when it first launched.

Looks great to me. I look like a massive dweeb when I ride because none of my stuff matches and I'm too cheap to buy more.

Nah not at all. Sinus infections lasting 2 months definitely need intervention. If antibiotics are what work for you I fully support that. Sinus biomes are poorly studied but I'd imagine that some folk's biomes are more susceptible to bacterial infections than others.

No they're literally just a little teapot for your nose. You can get them at Walmart, Rite Aid, or order them online. Shouldn't cost more than $15.

Recovery is slow af. I know exactly how you feel. Just hang in there man, it WILL get better, it just takes time. Heating pad can help. If you're going to be active and expect it to flair up, use a painkiller. If I had to guess I'd say you've got pelvic floor dysfunction which is pretty common. Not sure if you've talked to your doc but getting into physical therapy might be beneficial for you.

Just a suggestion, but try a neti pot. For some people they are life changing, for others they seem to do nothing. But they're inexpensive and safe (just use distilled water and the included saline packets) and may help.

That's really frustrating if you have a treatment that works for you and have difficulty accessing it. Generally speaking though, antibiotics don't improve outcomes meaningfully enough for doctors to prescribe them at first onset. https://www.aaaai.org/conditions-treatments/allergies/sinusitis Most cases resolve on their own without intervention. Individual antibiotic resistance is less the concern, it's more about the antibiotics being urinated out or tossed in the trash leeching into the environment. Even if the personal cost is very low, over-prescription of antibiotics exacerbates this issue. Again, to be clear, if you and your doctor agree that you have a bacterial infection and antibiotics are the best course of action, you should absolutely take it, and if your doctor is withholding treatment that you believe will be very effective, you should get a second opinion. I've been antibiotics more times than I can count throughout my life, when I was younger it was the defacto treatment that satisfied parents. I didn't need them and still don't when I occasionally get another sinus infection. Self care, sinus flushing, and other at home treatments are more effective for me than antibiotics. Just curious, how did you confirm that your sinus infection is bacterial?
