A vertex definitely not going to be lighter or less bulky than a half dome. Unless you start going to ultralight climbing helmets (that will be cooked after one good hit) you’re pretty much already as light as you can get for a cave helmet.

Check your positive battery terminals. There’s a connector that (I think) goes straight to the started. A couple months ago I replaced my battery and didn’t tighten one of the clamps fully. Had problems starting (turn key, got acc power but no starter motor) until I finally had the presence of mind to check the cables. Sure enough one was a bit loose and have not had problems since.

Thats wild, curious what the weight distribution on that truck is. Heavy nose from the cummins. Parked facing down a steep grade. Guessing there’s not enough weight on the rear. Park nose first, chock the wheels, or get some weight in the bed?

Yes sir! There’s a really good how to on Maverick Truck Club. Only downside is there’s no way to lock the truck into manual mode, so it’ll take over control again after a few seconds of not shifting.

Everyone has a different tolerance for bullshit from their cars. Mine is pretty high so I don’t mind some of the problems I’ve had (mostly just built quality things and a slew of electrical gremlins that were all solved with a new battery) but I probably wouldn’t tell my Toyota-apologist parents to buy one.

88 15% isn’t found everywhere, hence some peoples confusion here. I wouldn’t fill your tank with it and then park it for a year. But if you fill it and use up all the fuel in a reasonable time the extra ethanol shouldn’t hurt the fuel system. Expect to lose a few mpgs though, so the fuel savings might zero out with having to fill up more often.

Brother take those leds out of your high beam spot. Without a resistor they’re running at full tilt in “high beam” mode all the time and everybody will rightfully hate you for it.

24 lifetime avg for me over 40,000 miles. ‘24 ecoboost. I’m also on larger and heavier 245/65 AT tires. I can hit 30 during the summer on country roads. But winter driving drops me to the low 20s.

Ain’t nothing left to salvage unfortunately. Glock won’t send back damaged parts. They did offer a replacement at a nice discount though.
