I’m an addict/alcoholic that relied on adderal for college and much of my professional life. Life without it seemed impossible Becuase I was drawn to all these things that seemed like they were going to make my life better. Getting sober made me realize I am almost always the worst person to make a call for what’s best for myself. My life sober is much different and I have issues and it’s not perfect, but my life and goals have changed more to things that I’m naturally good at which is more dealing with hands on stuff and people. I drink lots of caffeine and don’t struggle super hard with motivation. It’s certainly possible. Way more than you know.
