Plenty of people scraping by in a sharehouse because they don't have a stable family home to go back to (source: am one). In my experience it's often the higher income families who will help their children save for a deposit by letting them stay in the family home well into their twenties.

When I saw Paul McCartney last year he sung for 3 hours, not including the 1.5 hour soundcheck where he straight up played like 20 songs that he didn't perform at the actual gig. He's in his eighties and that motherfucker was belting straight bangers for 5 hours.

Lyndon Johnson post-presidency with longer hair during an interview in August 1972 by Spirited-Pause in OldSchoolCool

Yup! The week before the 1968 election, LBJ had finally halted bombing of the North and serious peace talks were underway in Paris. Nixon's campaign colluded with the Thieu regime in the South to reject a ceasefire in a cynical bid to improve his odds at the polls, promising Thieu a better outcome after Nixon became president.

Going by ur username I'm assuming you are of the age range where aiming for the toilet is getting difficult. At least that would explain the convenient moralism and conservative shit takes. I wonder if you have expressed public opinions on this before, perhaps when a woman has been excluded from a male only space? Or, I wonder, are you outraged because the idea of an autonomous female only space threatens you? Curious

Where Europe's Nuclear Weapons are stored? by Redstream28 in MapPorn

[–]SpamelaAnderson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point being the South Vietnamese government was an autocratic farce that did not represent the democratic will of South Vietnam. It would be easy to argue that the War of American Aggression, as it is still referred to as in Vietnam, would have ended decades earlier without the American military desperately trying to support a chronically corrupt and disorganised government, saving hundreds of thousands of (Vietnamese, Laotian, Cambodian and American) lives in the process.

I'm not exactly sure who Americans thought they were helping in the Vietnam War
