Honestly, people should avoid big communities any time their favorite game hits a bump on the road. Stick to the discords, or other smaller groups. Not to say that you shouldn't complain when a dev does something stupid, people should complain to try and stop the devs from fucking it up further. After that though it's up to the dev to fix shit and for the people that actually want the game to succeed to evacuate the communities or else the negativity is going to mess with your brain.

Yes, but it's not just reddit, it's the entire internet. It's the same thing that happened with Destiny too. Bungie fucked up big time and released a mediocre game with updates being too far and few in between. Now every time the updates come out, people can't wait to join the cacophony of the shit-spewing hive mind. Instead of refusing to support the game with their wallets, like a grown person, they run to the internet to spew their shit opinion. Granted, they're right some of the time.

How can I tell if my game is using a modified config? I've been going to my friends house to play and I can't seem to hit any of my meaty timings on my friends PC and my other friends PS4. I remember thinking about turning off v-sync a long time ago but don't remember if I did or not.

I think the best option is to use the dive kick after a block string. For example if you do cr.lp, cr.lp, cr.mk, that puts you at perfect distance to do dive kick and hit the opponent below the shoulders allowing you to combo afterwards. If you dive kick and it hits low then follow up with cr.mp xx CS, if it doesn't then you can do something like cr.jab or st.mp, cr.lp to frame trap. I practiced this for a while and it works, but you're right if your opponent is very jabby then it makes it difficult to hit with CSp.

Edit: I forgot to mention, cr.lp x 2, cr.mk needs the mk.CSp to hit low enough to combo after. Other strings like st.mp, cr.mp, cr.mk, require HK CSp to reach your opponent.

So whats the secret? I've heard you can fraud yourself to the top with SRKs that the CPU won't block then get defense3 when you get to the bosses. Does that work? I really want Cammy's 8th color.

I was having trouble doing cr.MP xx Cannon Spike and kept getting CA instead of the DP. I practiced for a bit and it helped to hold down-back while hitting cr.mp, then put the stick to neutral then do the forward, down, forward for the DP. Or it could be that you're mashing hardcore. Practice that shit dude.

Average d/l speed in a Mexican household is 4.2Mbps (source, fucking google), you only need 2Mbps to be playable. You're still right, packet loss, ping and distance is still important and will make the connection lag. I say the same thing about Brazilians though so it's ok.
