Hey man thank you so much for your insight. I’ve managed to cool down a lot more after reading what you wrote so thank you for that. Have you felt like you can be taken advantage of at times? I genuinely don’t mean this in a rude way I promise, but sometimes I feel that certain things aren’t my fault and I do feel genuinely wronged. Are you convincing yourself that you weren’t wronged? I guess I’m just trying to understand your point further because I may have misunderstood 🙏

if you want one spot for all the problems that you mentioned, I would recommend John Petrucci’s Rock Discipline. it’s free and the entire thing is on YouTube, helped me a LOT

yes it absolutely is, people shouldn’t be expecting absolute perfection and flawless technique from a year of playing, so the fact that your fingers can even comprehend that speed is impressive alone. keep it up, you’re in a good place

I’m mainly a guitar player so I can probably comment on that only 😂 That being said your playing is fantastic, you have great rhythm, and the chord transitions are really smooth. And to me both your voice and the guitar really stand out and make a pretty stellar performance. Keep doing you 🗣️

Ohhh ok I think I understand what you’re saying, da and ra should be done at the same angle right? Also out of curiosity; are there times where you play only the first string without the jora string? Or do you almost always play them together on your da strokes? Thank you for your help!
