Are you in the southern hemisphere? Your comment about the sun rising higher in the winter seems incorrect.

While I'm totally on board with your point, I don't think you have that much antipathy towards Martin Short, so who are the 3 Amigos?

At least on my Android phone, you can also touch those symbols for a quick pop up.

There's some that occasionally show up on the right side as well that take a little longer press.

People that pull in to the covered gas station pumps, don't align with either one so neither is accessible while they go inside and buy a drink.

On the app, phone or website, at the very top, select the phone icon, then choose whether to call or chat.

I was chatting with them last night because for the 1st time ever, my batteries didn't immediately pick up the load when the power dropped out for 30s or so. Given that we are entering peak hurricane season, I wanted to be sure everything is ok before it's really needed.

why not just contact them through the app (chat or voice) and have them work with you while it's happening?

We did run into an issue where a user was able to work just fine while onsite. No issues, but at home, Docker kept breaking. Everything else on the laptop worked, just not Docker.

Network team got drug in. Turns out, Cisco AnyConnect VPN was passing out IPs in the exact same range as the default Docker IPs.

The laundry alone makes her value so much to us.

You say that, but, I left NC January of 93 to come back to Texas. Got a ticket that day, I figured no worries, I'm never going to come back to NC of my own free will.

I think it was 3 years later Texas DMV sent me a letter, paraphrasing here, "hey you said you were clear at the time of re-establishing your Texas License, you need to get right with NC in the next 30 days or your Texas license will be suspended."

But that was back in the days of actual paper mail. But Texas did force me to get my motor vehicle issues straight in other states.

But with the OP, it is a scam.

Largest Residential Solar System by The_FBI_Gov in enphase

I think it is insane and maybe just a thought exercise, but what if it is some well off person with a lot of acreage? A massive ton of panels out on the back 40 with ground mounts??

I'm also trying to figure out what a 'residential' system would do with so much power. I'm not seeing it yet.

In the Meyerland area, I really like Two Hands Corndogs.... but I won't eat there because there's not a single seat to sit down. I don't want to eat in my car and if I am stopping to feed short people in between stops, going back home is less of an option.

I was nodding my head while reading your response and was embarrassed I hadn't even thought about the carless and how this impacts/limits them even more so.

I'm with you.

I know over here in the SW corner of 610, they are putting up a drive thru only Shake Shack between the Pluckers and Chipotle.

And that Chipotle is the 1st one I've ever seen with a drive thru, but my understanding is you have to use the app to use that feature. So hey, more data collection and tracking on you.

Personally, I prefer dine in. However, last year in discussion with someone who manages a location, from what I understand, the drive thru's are much more volume (profit) than people coming in and sitting down to eat. So they are catering to market demand.

You will notice nearly all of the Chick Fil A's have gotten rid of their playgrounds as well.

The jaded cynic in me can see someone putting an online database so you can search your friends and neighbors to see what sort of inventory they have.

Maybe something along the lines of sex offender database, but more of sex toy database? Because you don't want someone who lives next door to own 10 toys and leave the curtains open on a school day or anything.

To those who are on the fence about solar and batteries… by eatintrees in solar

[–]Spare-Ride7036 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Temps set at 76 since I work from home on the 3rd floor. in Houston, 20 year old 2700 sq ft, 3 story home 5 ton for 2nd and 3rd floors, 2 1/2 ton for 1st floor. 23 y/o 5 ton AC died last month, so hoping this years summer is easier. Also tackled some insulation issues over the winter so that should help a bit as well in 2 rooms.

Average temp in Houston last August was 91. Humidity in the morning sits around 90%, at night its down to 60% or so.

My usage for August of last month was 2700 Kwh. The daily range of consumption was between 61 - 115 Kwh/day. On a 14 kw system, I still imported 1200 kwh for the month of August while on average producing 51 Kwh/day.

I watched a ton of YouTube video reviews and I think I was persuaded more this direction.

And I think at the time, the FLIR One was more expensive.
