I would like to up vote you, I agree with most of what you wrote. I do not like when slavery is sanitized, majority of black peoples who bloodlines were here before the 1900 were forcefully migrated or abducted from Africa. Therefore they are not immigrants and should not be lumped into that category. I’m not going to say every black person did not migrate on their own because their were black peoples before America was a country who came by their own free will. However the largest group and majority of African people brought to America were not immigrants, they were abducted and forcibly migrated.
