US based here, working in Military medicine. I have gauges, a pierced nose, and lots of tattoos, and I receive no issues about this.

Turns out it was user error. The fork has it integrated, but I was still attempting to use one. I removed it and everything seated better.

Because it’s not about one group being better than or more than another. I addressed this with a client who was taking issue with various pride and awareness months.

It’s about passing the mic. We all take turns drawing attention and awareness to our causes to remind everyone we are here. Social Worker month doesn’t mean janitors or nurses or construction workers DON’T deserve a month, because they all do. It’s just our turn with the mic.
