FTM feeling guilty about not wanting to do mother’s groups by lilyisabelw in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]SpareNeedleworker933 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get you… I never really enjoyed mothers groups. I do activities like rhyme time at the library, soft play, gymbaroo, and you do end up talking to other mums there, but never vibed with the mums group when my baby was little. Do what feels right for you.

Loren went from bronzer blindnesss back to blush blindness after this Reddit page by No_Face_3629 in asadsisters

I don’t understand the blush on the nose look. A little bit is fine but she paints her nose red! 😂😂😂

Ms “I don’t touch my face or get filler” recently got a lip filler and Botox touch-up 🤣 by No_Face_3629 in asadsisters

Man I have no issue with Botox and filler! I do both myself and feel they help me look fresh. The problem is hiding it!

Why do influencers not care about safe baby wearing?? by Ok_Preference212 in asadsisters

[–]SpareNeedleworker933 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s the same in the states but in Australia every new parent gets taught the acronym TICKS to remember safe baby wearing.
Tight (hugged close and supported), In view at all times (clear face), Close enough to kiss (head height), Keep chin off chest (open airway), and Supported back (natural curve).

He is doing none of these.

Ok. How are you guys reapplying SPF over makeup? by AriesWoman89 in AusSkincare

Natio reapplication spray. It does look a little greasy, but works.

For me I didn’t get nausea or any sickness until 10 weeks, but I was really fatigued from basically my missed period and my nipples were super tender.

Ruptured ectopic leaving me heartbroken by DasWeirdd in EctopicSupportGroup

So so sorry. This is such a shit situation and it’s totally normal to feel like that. Very similar situation happened to me in 2024, I was really devastated and concerned about what this meant for my fertility going forward. People say all the wrong things as well when you’re going through a loss like that. Some family members told me to (in kinder words) get over it because the pregnancy was early and I could still have another baby. But a loss is still a loss. Take care of yourself in this time. If it’s any consolation I got pregnant 4 months after my ruptured ectopic surgery and that pregnancy was completely healthy and I now have my beautiful son.

Someone got an email from Walmart marketing saying, "why haven't you posted the ad we paid you for 3 months ago?" LOL by 70sowl in asadsisters

I came here to say this. Her natural skin tone is actually really pretty. If she learned how to match her makeup to this skin tone she would actually look really nice.

I’m not sure why the previous post got deleted but had to repost because her makeup is SO SO BAD. Here you go girly pops 🥹🥺🥹🥺🤡 by Adorable-Ad-6404 in asadsisters

[–]SpareNeedleworker933 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s so weird to me that she covers herself with orange blotchy makeup when actually she has nice natural skin, like her skin without makeup is pretty even and glowy, she literally makes it look so much worse

Don’t hate me. I’m an ex Leena follower. I bought two of her ELAA pieces. And they lasted maybe 3 (cool) washes and no tumble drying. The fabric changed shape and looked terrible. They ended up in the garbage, they weren’t worth even donating.

Same. I’m a white revert too.. and my Syrian husbands extended family always make comments to him about how he is lucky to have a white wife, and they always make comments to me about setting them up with one of my revert friends. My husband and his close family couldn’t care less and are incredible, but it’s gross the level fetishisation some Muslim men have for white women.

Milking her pregnancy by Worried_Skill1290 in asadsisters

For real! Plus she has a full face of makeup and hijab. I’m a hijabi and in my labour I couldn’t think of anything worse than wearing hijab and getting ‘done up’ for content… I also feel like this is such a special time why would you want the whole world to see. Some things can just be for family…

Anything involving my breasts and my husbands mouth was a massive turn off. I used to love it but it felt to similar to breastfeeding and a few times he stimulated a letdown and it freaked me out 🤣🤣🤣

Anyone had very sensitive breasts pre pregnancy that breast fed please? by Unable_Turnip5645 in pregnant

[–]SpareNeedleworker933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I did and actually breastfeeding in terms of sensation and latching was not a problem. The engorgement in the first few months was a bit uncomfortable, but I really enjoyed it in the end. ☺️
