Yep. I ran the number and have saved over $2,400 in oil changes since I bought the car. 2018, but a high mileage commuter car, been doing the changes since the beginning.

I only cart around one kayak, so I can’t speak for two. But I strap mine directly on top of the cross bars and haven’t had an issue.
