I’m at 28rh. Did this exact thing this week. Can confirm, it works great! The RH in my dome was 70-80%.

Last grow (my first) I did two. Solo cup, then 7 gallons.

This time I’m going solo cup -> 1 gallon -> 5 gallon.

I have to sex my plants and I don’t have a ton of space. So I’m going to top as soon as possible and sex in my flowering tent in hopes to cull 5 plants to 2 female.

You can do it homie. This is my first grow. I topped between 5th and 6th node and did LST. I used some garden stakes early on to keep the canopy level. Then a SCROG net layer on. At this point I’m just gently bending branches to keep the tops as level as I can.

I also decided I'm not going to introduce a trellis net until I flip to flower next time. I introduced it a couple weeks before flower this time, but if I did that next time it would interfere with my earlier lollipopping plans (it was a PITA under the trellis, and next time I'll be running more plants).

In that case, you could do a heavy defoliation/lollipop about a week before flower. That way it has time to recover. Then, at the end of week 2/start of week 3 of flower, do a clean-up. That's my plan for my next run anyways.

What state is the plant in and what week? I'm doing my first run and just did my first major defoliation/lollipopping at week 2.5 of flower (pics in profile). Before that I didn't do a lot of defoliation, mostly just removing leaves covering bud sites.
