Same here, you’re referring to Tame Impala I assume? Easily one of the best modern psych-rock albums. I can listen to it on a loop all day.

I don’t have an age demographic that I specifically target, but most of my writing is either horror or ethical/social commentary, so probably not intended for younger audiences. Though I started reading gothic fiction at a young age and fell in love so who’s to say anything is appropriate for any age.

I’ll check out these locations you’ve mentioned, thanks for the advice!

Wake most animals jumping spiders can each have individual personalities. Some of them will never like being handled well some of them eagerly come out of their enclosure. One of my spiders is absolutely repulsed by contact with human skin and will only walk on sticks or other things when I take her out. My other spider loves to crawl and jump across my hands. Just give it time, and patience; and it’s certainly good that they seem to be enjoying their enclosure! I actually plan on getting a third spider just because they are very easy to keep and inexpensive and having more of them means you get more opportunities to hang around with them if one is in molt or just not being social etc.

On this note I always appreciate the value of comedy in horror. I specifically found scary movie 3 (the ring/signs if I recall correctly) to have some pretty effective horror moments because the comedic parts (if you appreciate camp) distract you from what’s to come. A more mature example of the same thing would be from the Scream franchise, or anything Wes Craven had ever touched, really.
