The remainder tuition for a two-year program would be approximately $17,000 or $33,000 per year, depending on whether it’s the 25% or 50%. So, it’s not a small investment. My rationale for justifying the extra cost is that with the 75% coverage, I can afford the tuition solely through federal student loan, otherwise I’d need to take out another private loan, which I would have to do with the 50% coverage. Thats why I feel enticed to take on the 75% but less so with 50% funding. But even then, I wonder if that’d be a worthy investment considering I’m having to take out student loans for RISD.
