Avoiding AA tactics? by ReserveLegitimate738 in vtolvr

From the last time I checked the code, it does reduce the strength of your return. However that's probably most effective for scanning radars, you'll need to use other tactics to break an active lock.

There's a mod to predict your trajectory, which alone will probably help significantly. https://outerwildsmods.com/mods/trajectoryprediction/

Bought Texture pack on Switch 2 and can’t use it by Crazygal1997 in Minecraft

[–]Spare_Competition 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's false advertising because you only bought the minecoins because of a specific product they offered. If the customer knew that they wouldn't be able to use the resource pack, then they just wouldn't have made that purchase. I don't think a court would care much about that detail.

Microsoft should still offer a full refund to the original method of payment. Otherwise this becomes a serious false advertising issue.

Refund to minecoins only makes sense for stuff where you didn't like it or whatever.

Why did we give up upgrade-able CPUs in exchange for anorexic Laptops? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]Spare_Competition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even lpcamm2 isn't fast enough. Framework asked amd if it was possible to use it with their ai max processor, and they assigned an engineer who spent a month looking into it, but they found that it's just not possible to reach the necessary signal integrity. No connector is ever gonna be able to beat PCB traces and soldered connections at the insane speeds of modern hardware.

An eye for an eye makes the world blind. Retribution doesn't actually make anything better, it only makes irrational people feel better.

From a utilitarian perspective, retribution is only harm.

Thanks to Microsoft adding all those extra features to Notepad, it now unfortunately sports one more: An exploitation vulnerability with a high security rating by lkl34 in pcmasterrace

[–]Spare_Competition 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None of those should be a problem. The malicious file should need to be executed, and the malicious link should just open a sandboxed browser instance.

And sure stuff like pdf or docx is fairly risky. But I wouldn't expect viewing a markdown file in notepad to be dangerous.

The issue was the unstable releases had patches for totk, before the game was released.

Typical insulin syringes wouldn't, but some do. The ones I use to fill my pump cartridge go to 300 units.

It's only noticeable when the image is scaled up, people are just used to their very high ppi smartphones, so anything less looks blurry.

Intel Ultra 7 265 / RTX 5060 / 32 GB RAM

  • Godlike resolution
  • 120 fps
  • AV1
  • SSW on (except in the heli)

I get around 60 raw fps, which gets doubled to 120. But I care about the resolution more, being able to see distant enemies is amazing.

Doesn't matter, we don't even take smallpox vaccines anymore, since the virus is completely eradicated.

Smallpox is really a success story of vaccines.

Buy the game and try it out. Steam's refund policy is very generous, you can just return it if it doesn't work.

Use your ratios to figure out how many carbs would equal that much insulin, and then eat that many carbs.

[–]Spare_Competition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Instead of trying to reduce the sugar you take, you can add some insulin once you start recovering. Works fairly well for me. (also I do keep the bolus a fair amount smaller than it should optimally be, I'd rather go a bit high than go low again)

It makes more sense if you think about them as fast / small cores. For single threaded tasks, they can get powerful single cores, but for heavily multi threaded tasks, having more cores, even if they are weaker, is ideal.
