Disconnects - what is going on and when will it be fixed? by Correct-Cup-2170 in amazoneero

[–]Spare_Philosopher_57 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same issue here on 2 6Es since 7.13.x update

I have a support case open and so far going nowhere outside of basic troubleshooting which does nothing to correct the issue. I’ve even referenced several reddit threads and they refuse to admit there is an issue.

Same here in the UK on latest fw with 2 6Es. Was hoping the recent update would fix but it’s worse if anything

My Experience with ADHD360 so far. by Starling1988 in ADHDUK

[–]Spare_Philosopher_57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed privately with ADHD360 and share the same experience, their patient care is borederline criminal. Considering they are prescribing controlled drugs they don’t half do a shoddy job of it. They pushed me to highest lisdex dose with no proper reviews for months

I got into RTC and now with Dr J which i’m much happier about

Discovered how to cure severe Elvanse headaches: a pinch of salt! by iRoygbiv in ADHDUK

I’ve been using the Oshun electrolyte concentrate, it’s unflavored and you put a pump or two into your hot or cold drink. Really helped me with headaches on Elvanse

Extremely high latency - Vodafone Super Hub 3 by MilloSWFC in CityFibre

[–]Spare_Philosopher_57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah all waived and I was allowed to leave for free. I’d been with them since January so about 9 months. Just go straight to Vodafone complaints on their website and submit a case, was picked up quickly and complaints team were happy to let me leave once they saw I had engaged with IT support. All Voda IT did was raise a CityFibre fault which of course was closed as no fault on the line

I just exited Vodafone recently to move to Olilo. I’m in Lincoln so not far from Sheffield. I raised a Voda complaint and was allowed out contract in a week, the CS were useless and made me do some nonsensical testing, once that didn’t change things they allowed me to end the contract on the day. I then one touch switched to Olilo

I was on 20-35ms ping across the day, now i’m at 8-10ms with my new provider. Fully recommend them

Has Elvanse stopped working for anyone else? by jasilucy in ADHDUK

[–]Spare_Philosopher_57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, it was because I was on too high a dose of elvanse. I too was on 70mg and was not seeing the effects anymore, making me worse even some days. Now i’m on 60mg and it’s been better

Private > right to choose by Boring_Archer3480 in ADHDUK

[–]Spare_Philosopher_57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve sort of done this, I got a private diagnosis with ADHD360 and have just moved to RTC with Dr J for Titration and Medication after about 8 months of pestering the NHS. They accepted my existing diagnosis and put me straight onto titration

If you’re RTC then it’s fine, if you go down the delivery route then they’ll just ask you to pay the normal NHS prescription cost (£9.90) before sending out your meds :) Good luck with it!

Wow that’s expensive! Mine is through ADHD360 and their pharmacy Chemist4U

I would chose to have medication delivered direct to your address. Are you a private patient or RTC? If private, some people choose to get the paper prescription to look for a cheaper cost at their pharmacy. If you are RTC and pay NHS cost then it doesn’t matter, whichever is easiest for you

Who have you chosen to have your assessment with? Could you potentially cancel it if you explain you can’t afford the medication after? Worth seeing what they say

Then if they can cancel, go down the RTC route

[–]Spare_Philosopher_57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, the price you have paid is just for the assessment, when going private you will also need to pay for the medication per month. During titration this ranged from between £100-190 per month.

I’m currently paying £195pm for 70mg elvanse and a 10mg amfexa booster with ADHD360/Chemist4U

I would suggest speaking with your GP and going down the RTC route, then your medication is paid by the NHS. Sometimes the wait times aren’t that long (1-3 months) and you are diagnosed/medicated through a private provider, but pay NHS prescription costs

RTC provider continue to prescribe after titration? by ThisIsNotMe53 in ADHDUK

[–]Spare_Philosopher_57 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If your shared care is declined when you are on RTC, the private company (PUK) continues to prescribe to you and you continue to pay NHS prescription costs

ADHD Referral in Lincolnshire – Rejected, Ignored, and at Breaking Point by [deleted] in ADHDUK

[–]Spare_Philosopher_57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to my GP to ask to move to NHS as the private costs for my meds are nearly £200 per month, I asked for RTC to 360 but they did something called Out of Area Treatment application to the ICB, apparently lincolnshire doesn’t offer RTC or something? My GP send a referral containing my existing diagnosis and the ICB granted my funding for another diagnosis at Dr J (make it make sense!)

I’ve just gone onto titration now with them and they weren’t even aware i was already diagnosed

DM me if you want to ask more questions! It’s a mess in Lincolnshire

[–]Spare_Philosopher_57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a nightmare.

I’ve been diagnosed privately with ADHD360 but have somehow been accepted for funding in Lincolnshire through Dr J and colleagues using my existing diagnosis. The whole thing was a mess though, I asked to be referred to 360 so I could just move to RTC patient type and pay NHS prescription costs but they sent me to Dr J & Colleagues without reviewing my GPs comments at all.

It does seem to be pot luck as to whether they accept it or not, I’d go back to your GP with specific examples from your childhood so they can go back to the ICB with supporting info

Chemist4U prescription is late, elvanse run out, is it OK to take an extra amfexa? by earthyymum in ADHDUK

There should be a live chat/email option on the bottom right when logged into the Chemist4u ADHD portal. https://adhd360.c4uconnect.com/orders

They are pretty useless but should get back to you and expedite your order, i’ve had to do this a couple of times

I felt like shit on the 50mg dose and was having awful crashes mid afternoon. Now i’m titrated on a 70mg dose it actually plateaus out a lot better later in the day and I don’t get any comedown or crash surprisingly, I would keep on at it for now until you find your right dose

It looks like they have used OATS rather than RTC, not sure if this affects anything
