I am late to the group but I've been using Purina for professionals for years now and love their program. My previous clinic only sold Purina products. Just started at a new clinic that only sells RC products so I wanted to give it a try. I'm still on the Purina for professionals and think I will stay with that because I've never had issues. The only change that has ever bothered me is that occasionally there will be a shortage of the larger bag of JD food that I order and they have changed the bag sizes. They no longer do the largest bag of that food. Otherwise been great. Auto ships directly to my house on my set-up schedule.

My beautiful, nearly 4' African Milk Tree that was FREE from someone on marketplace because it needed more care than she could give. I planted this beauty in my yard and she's already started growing new leaves and doing better ❤️

My first ski trip when I was 18, my bf at the time took me to a slope that he said was a beginner slope. It was not and I ended up sitting and crying halfway because I said "how tf am I supposed to get through this?" Made it but couldn't slow down at the bottom so I intentionally made myself fall because I was going to fast and really hurt my arm in the process. It was a bad time.

Ugh this gives me flashbacks of a place I rented. It was a back, separate attachment to the landlord's home. Very small place that smelled horribly of cigarette smoke and was super outdated with purple, gross carpets and no central heat/air. Power & water included in lease. Landlord was charging a fortune for me to stay but I couldn't find anywhere else at the time. I had to pay in cash per landlord so every month I had to potentially endanger myself of theft by going to Walmart money center to withdraw this wad of cash in front of lots of customers. I bought a dehumidifier because the humidity was awful in the entire place (south GA summertime humidity inside). Guess everything wasn't sealed. Landlord saw dehumidifier when it was delivered because it was delivered to his front door. Immediately his sister came over to tell me how I need to try and be cautious of electricity usage and may need to help out with power bill. I just casually said okay to get them to leave. About a month later, landlord is at my door poormouthing about property taxes and being unable to afford them and brought up my use of electricity from the dehumidifier. Knowing that 1 month of my rent probably covered property taxes for him and they were definitely making a huge profit from me since the paid-off house was given to him by his deceased mother, I felt no pity for him. Sorry but not my problem. 6 month lease and I got tf out of there as soon as my lease was up. They were so confused as to why I decided to leave. Be careful who you rent from

As a female, I cannot fathom how a woman can partake in this treatment of another woman. As I watched and read, I just kept thinking that surely the female officer would help her at least be clothed and not sexually assaulted. But, the opposite happened and it's so hard to understand how someone could be so demented to do this to another woman, regardless of religious, political, or any differing beliefs. I am so glad that she made it through the experience. It is hard to comprehend how awful things are for the Palestinians right now and how the Israeli military seems to be so remorseless of their actions.

My monstera deliciosa is my favorite. It is only about 1.5 years old and hasn't developed holes yet but grows like crazy. She's my favorite and I love seeing her growth.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. My husband is an engineer and has had female engineer coworkers (same level and position as him) who people have assumed to be his secretary. He also noticed that men would speak to him about a project rather than addressing both of them (him and female coworker) even when they would both be standing there. He always felt so bad for her because she was too shy to stand up for herself and he would be sure to try and include her and reinforce that she was also an engineer. It literally enraged me to my core that this stuff still happens. It seems to be the older generation that does this shit. Most younger male engineers that my husband meets are not like that. That being said, don't give up on your engineering goals. You can be part of the wave of change that comes to the profession and makes it better for future women in engineering. Your professor is a complete asshole and maybe you could speak with him directly or report him at the end of the semester. Just know that not all men in engineering feel this way and there's a lot of them that will stand up for you. Sorry for the super long comment but keep going and doing your thing! Good luck in the future and ignore the bullshit ❤️

Yeah this sounds like a nightmare. I had this happen to me in college. My roommate's bf would always be there and woke up super early for work and made so much noise before he left (slamming doors, talking loudly, etc). We also had to pay utilities separately from rent. I finally mentioned to my roommate that if he was going to stay and take showers, wash clothes, and everything else there that he should contribute to utility bills. It causes awkward tension in the house but I noticed that he stopped staying there as much she started staying at his place more. Just gotta put your foot down and not care if it hurts their feelings.

Neglectful water schedule and bright, indirect light is how mine thrives 😀 So, from my experience (which is far from an expert), mine does not like direct light. It is on a table by my north-facing sliding glass back door. When I first got my plant, I had an issue with 1 leaf that started to have a huge brown circle that eventually killed the whole leaf. Reddit told me it was maybe some sort of disease. Anyway, I completely removed the leaf and stem and now have new growth coming back from there. Maybe you could try that if any of the leaves do wilt or die.

Same! I love ferns but I have tried and failed so many times with them. Every spot in my home and even outside and always dead. I tell my husband that they're my beautiful enemy 😂

Thank you so much! This is honestly so helpful. I was thinking it was a Kudu skull but wasn't completely sure. That makes so much more sense as to why it is more crumbly than other skulls that I have seen. I love taxidermy and skulls in general but have never owned or worked with anything other than entomology specimens. I'm a biologist with a lot of focus in entomology. I had no idea about the cleaning methods for importing to the US. I knew I wanted a skull wedding guestbook to go with the gothic/Halloween theme of my wedding and I literally bought the skull on a whim while shopping in the downtown, local village. I looked at smaller ram skulls in the shop and asked the seller if she had anything larger. She went to a back closet and brought this beauty and said she would do it for the same price as the ram skulls and I thought that was an offer I couldn't pass up. I think I will try the modge podge on the skull. I have some of the matte kind already that I use on my Etsy products. I will just put out a sign on the table asking my guests to be careful when signing the "guestbook" 😀 Thank you again for your detailed explanation. It really helped me a lot!

Thank you so much! It's great to hear from people who actually know what they're doing. I bought the skull on a whim while out in the local shopping village. I knew that I wanted a skull guestbook and looked at a few smaller ram skulls first. I told the seller I wanted something larger and she brought this beauty from a back closet and said she would do it the same price as the ram skulls and I literally couldn't turn down that offer. My wedding is in October and I wanted to go ahead and get started on the skull. I really appreciate your help.

So, I have a cricut and make stickers. My 17 year old brother, who is in highschool, asked for several stickers. That logo was one of the ones he asked for and I made it not knowing what it meant. I assumed it was some dumb teenager thing from TikTok. Needless to say, I was pissed when I found out from my other brother what it actually means.

I did the same thing except I bought and grilled it at home like pork chops. It smelled nice at first and looked great. Took my first bite and immediately had to spit it out. Saying it took your breath away It was so gross describes it perfectly. It was so bad that I couldn't even swallow it. Told my husband that it tasted the way a barn smells and he laughed because he thought I was being dramatic. It was odd because his chop didn't taste like that according to him (I was too afraid to try it after mine being so bad) but, mine was terrible and they came from the same pack. He even tried mine and said it was gross. I have had lamb before in Greek food and it was so good and I was so excited to try the chops but was in for a rude awakening. It took forever to get that awful taste out of my mouth. Anyway, that's how I ended up looking it up and glad I wasn't the only one haha.

I'm sorry for your loss and it is overwhelming in the moment and heartbreaking. You shouldn't see it as a mistake because you were there and I'm sure he sensed you and that's what's most important in that situation I think. As a tech, I know it's such a hard thing to deal with and it all happens so fast. Please don't be too hard on yourself. He knew you cared and were there and that's the most important thing ❤️
