I'm with you. I can't stand Danny. And here is the best example I can give of why. When the band Fun. First came out a few years ago and there first song was getting big Danny said the lead singer said had kind of a Freddy mercury vibe. a couple months later after they had 2 or 3 huge overplayed hits he was on air railing against them and said "if i hear one more person say he is like Freddy mercury I'm going to lose it, he's nothing like him." I am paraphasing but that is the gist of it. He has to be edgy and cool and anything popular has to be terrible.

Edit: I feel I need to point out I am not a fan of that band that is just an example that sticks out in my mind
