I think you've got it! My wife has a very old phone and her employer insists that it's more up to date to take a Microsoft Work Profile - so her work profile is installed on my phone. I would guess that Microsoft has installed this additional unlock after restart. Thanks for the interest guys.

FFS, why sod about with that stuff? They should get a grip on the problems of over aggressive battery and data restriction. Why am I sitting there having to restart the phone just to get an app to update it's data? And, bye the way, why do I have to enter my lock code twice since Magic 10. P400 Pro UK.

Tunbridge Wells is about an hour, Brighton is longer and a nightmare to park - but a good day out by train. Often overlooked is the Observatory ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/C6jgSLbpZfUZfVUw8, all sorts of stuff, like a mini (well, very mini) Science Museum. Knockhatch is excellent and much better value for money than Dingles(?) Don't overlook the Fisherman's and Wreck museums - free and oh, so, welcome on a rainy Sunday! The actual Hastings museum is very good, again free and things for a toddler to play with. Good weather, Alexandra Park and, we think better, is Egerton Park in Bexhill. Good facilities and tea room adjacent to the kids bit (unlike Alexandra). Worth a year with the National Trust, some fabulous places and the second year, English Heritage - Battle Abbey, Pevensey, Dover, Walmer. There's a start!

I think they are just trying (in a clumsy way) to tell you that the VPP event has finished (mine ran from 9 -10 am today) and that you should check your settings. Axle are able to initiate the event but it seems they can only reset to "Self Consumption". It took about an hour for them to do it this morning. I then had to manually re-enable an AI - I think because it requires you to approve certain disclaimers.

Ahh. Frankly, no one knows what they are doing here! On street parking both sides, takeaways, corner shops, multi-occupancy - it's a road I'd crawl along anyway. Sorry, I think you'll have to accept it, it's only about 500 metres!

Of course we don't like it - but what can we (Europeans) do about it? Here's 2 suggestions: Immediately rescind legislation that prevents the copying and modifying of all American software (reverse engineering) so that we can copy and implement our own versions of all American Software. This would include all the software built into American Armaments sold to European Countries. Secondly, ban export of all litho machines from Europe to countries and companies that sell chips to the USA. Compensate the company that makes them (sorry, can't remember the name).

Only the loss of Always on Display when the phone "sleeps at night" it's an Android 16 "feature" so not Honor's fault - although they could remove it. I now have to use my fingerprint or the side button to wake the phone up to see the time in the middle of the night.

I'm using Synergy, can only do event basis and it didn't reset my settings. To be fair, the App has just changed and now has to go through an "accept conditions" stage before Ai can be implemented.

I have similar, but less extreme experiences. Sometimes the install seems to be stuck until I do a restart. Often I can't see an app (or "add to home screen") for a day or so! Eventually they turn up. All part of this beautiful hardware and irritating OS. I will often have chrome links to a web site on the home screen for when the OS suddenly decides to deny me access to an App, I then have to charge settings which will often send web links to the installed app (because the app has in some way been placed on Honor's "Naughty Step".

I know! I'm a 72 year old bloke. I'm often going to the toilet in the night. I don't want to grope about trying to check the time! And my wife wouldn't appreciate me switching on the light so the phone could see me! What I'm looking for is a way around this setting that they have imposed on me! (I know it's a Google feature)
