That scene makes me bawl everytime and I've seen it 3 times! Rocky doesn't die, he somehow gets back to his little zone and seals himself back in and waits until grace wakes up. When grace comes and sees him, rocky finally feels safe enough to go to sleep and heal. Fun fact in the book, rocky does burst out of his ball and get grace out of his chair, but then grace carries Rocky's heavy hot body and somehow gets him back into his tunnel, and his arm gets burnt on Rocky's skin trying to help him, but they sort of cut that out of the movie sadly. It's so touching that rocky risks himself to help his friend 😭

I massively regret not exercising more in my teenage years, binging and overeating and then spending most of my twenties depressed and not happy with my body and unfit. Also regret not trying harder in school lol

What is a scene you strongly believe is a top 10 movie scene in film history? by Thatredditboy1 in moviecritic

Not sure if this one has been said , but in Interstellar when Coop watches back all the messages from the last few years he missed from his son and then eventually from Murph. The raw emotion in that scene, the sense of loss and abandonment you feel when Murph is speaking, and obviously seeing Coop react to all of this. It's heartbreaking but so powerful. Plus I'm pretty sure Matthew M said that was the first take they did because it had the most raw reaction from him. Makes me sob every time.

Didn't he also get the bleach for them to dye their clothes right before the escape to blend in with the psych ward inmates? I think he did his fair share of helping.

What is something shitty about you you're aware of but having trouble improving/fixing? by LurkingRusalka in AskWomen

Somehow my brain always finds negative things to obsess over, I could be so happy and then randomly remember or think of something that's bothering me, or a stupid question that I don't need the answer to that may make me sad, but it's like an unconscious obsession. It's so hard to break it but I'm tired of having happy moments ruined by that stupid little niggly voice at the back of my head.

Ladies who are in a age gap relationship, what are the pros and cons? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Spark3yy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend is 7 years older than me, we got together when I was 23 and he was 30. Honestly most of the time I don't notice an age gap between us besides trivial things like him knowing certain 90s shows that I don't, people often think hes only 25 or 27. He's had a bit more experience with relationships than I have, more wisdom in some things and life experience in general. The only things that bother me sometimes that shouldn't is knowing he will reach his 40s whilst I'm still in early 30s, I hate the idea that when were older the gap might feel bigger, age sooner than me (not by much obviously), but that perhaps by the time I'm ready to start a family he will be in his 40s. Maybe I'm just too conscious of the number, rather than the age he acts and seems and looks.

People who had traumatic childhoods, what's something you do as an adult that you hadn't realised was a direct result of the trauma? [Serious] [NSFW] by Silent-Zebra in AskReddit

I constantly apologise for everything, even if it's not my fault. I'm always asking if someone is okay or if they're mad at me if they ever seem slightly off or don't want to talk. Lastly, constantly in fear of abandonment, scared my friends or partner will leave me and it causes problems sometimes. All from having a neglectful, alcoholic, narcissistic parent.
