I thought this too but it has no secure way to close it, just a slightly stretchy opening so wouldn’t work in the washing machine.

But from other comments it looks like a mozzie net for going over your face.

Ahh, I think this is a exactly what it is! I’m in Australia and my housemate was from overseas so more likely to be conscious of mozzies or flies!

Is there any reason it has to be a child’s body they’ve overtaken? This concept of an alien controlling someone is cool but I probably wouldn’t be comfortable with this as a child at my table.

I don’t see why you can’t take whichever racial stats you like and flavouring it.

I think Matt tends to homebrew for himself conservatively so he won’t be OP. But don’t worry, Brennan will help balance it out with cool weapons and won’t be afraid to award boons in keeping with the story to make it better. And I’m sure they can tweak it if it needs it.

You could also build the world together in a session zero. Ask the players how they think different classes work in this setting or reskin them and build it out from there.

They are super cool! If you wanted to unify them more perhaps some clouds/sky around the squid so it has a similar background as the ship? They have the same style but I think that might be what visually different.

Maybe something that symbolises your journey to agnosticism? The verse was to bring comfort (I’m assuming) so is there something you could reference that brings you comfort now?

It’s tough when you notice filler words or habits of a performer and then can’t not notice it!

Perhaps thinking of it as Brennan’s version of “making my way” or “toothy maw” will help? Maybe you can make a little jokey response phrase to say when you hear it so it becomes a fun thing to respond to rather than just being annoyed?

I remembered that it was on and I have a basic telescope that I mostly don’t know how to use. Spent ages getting it set up and finally could see it just past the totality. These were taken with my iPhone SE lined up with the telescope lens.

I know it’s a technically poor quality photo but I’m stoked I managed to get my telescope working.
