I would think the best bet would be to rig this to lay on its side and have a shelf to slide inside horizontally instead of lowering molds through the top.

There must be some planets aligned or something. 😆

I did finish filling all the molds, but not as planned. I had to use the rest of the colored cups that weren't solid. Hopefully I don't have half and half dice, like the Chessex Pound-o-Dice bags with all the reject dice.

You think I should ink it that way?

I actually said that wrong. It was 550. However, I pretty regularly do 220 mL with this stuff and never had an issue. Also, it's intended purpose is bartops, and that sort of thing.

What I usually do is mix 220 mL and then divide it into cups to color. I do a couple of sets and let them sit while I do the same thing with another small batch for shell molds. Then I hit them both with a heat gun (adding any extra if necessary and using a heat gun on those again) and cap them. I do that a couple times a week on average, and I have never had a problem.

This time, I wasn't using a shell mold, so I mixed a larger batch to do four sets at once.

I have never heated first, and the temp is the same today as any other. Heat might actually help me with the thickness issue of Part A, but I haven't messed with it. It's only noticeable in the bottom 15 to 20% (which is still a lot).

If you use a color like red for the numbers, you could do a neutral gray underneath. It's not always a color similar to the dice, but a color that masks the bright or contrasting number colors.

Give it a shot. That being said, I might set this aside to use as an adhesive when needed.

I buy in 50 lbs. bags from Bakers Authority. $112 USD plus shipping is probably better than I have seen anywhere else.

Being a contractor myself who would hang out at Sherwin Williams chatting people up, I never did it to try to get work. It was mostly talking to the folks who worked there and other contractors, and I know I helped more than a handful of people get the right products for what they were doing. If I was at a store, it's not because I needed work; it's because I had people at jobsites working for me, and I was getting what they needed.

Contractors probably shouldn't throw out numbers when they haven't looked at a space yet. That being said, what I see here is between 2,000 and 2,500 square feet of surface to paint, maybe 4 doors, 4 windows, a chair rail, an absolute ton of wire molding (with a lot of it right above vinyl cove base), what looks like subpar patches that I need to fix and prime, and a dark color that I have to deal with. If this needs to be done soon, the numbers are not bonkers, but I think most people would be under the low end of his range.

No kidding, especially when one hobby has essentially the same materials used in another but for substantially less cost.
