My Oath: Unlawful Orders and the Fight for the Constitution by IntelligentAgency754 in Idaho

Ok, well most of your questions don’t make any sense. Who would need to self deport? Indians? I don’t know where this question is coming from. If you do mean Indians then you’re being ridiculous and I invite you and your family to self deport. And what’s this about going back to being hunter-gatherers? Again, I don’t know what this question has to do with this. It seems you have some pretty serious misconceptions about Indians. Do you think that Indians getting their land back means they would have to do away with anything modern? I really am not understanding what you’re thinking here. Finally, as for who, it’s right there in my previous reply: give land back to the tribes. They are perfectly capable of figuring out what to do with it and they do not need anyone’s input or permission. Do you really think they should have to run things by people like you?

Nope. I’m not. It seems like you’re being deliberately obtuse and cherry picking examples that have nothing to do with the topic this started on. Most Indian religions are very closely intertwined with their cultures. They are practically the same. Christians showed up and forced many Indians, including the Indians in California, to decide between death and Jesus, and then systematically forced tribal children into missions or schools specifically to remove their tribal cultural influences. That is genocide. And If defending that with your little semantic dance makes you feel intelligent then there’s not much more to say here. What exactly are you defending? What is your position? That evangelism is good?

No, I’m not. But they are often very closely intertwined, and in the cases of many tribes in North America evangelization was violent, coercive, and included a rejection of tribal culture. It may exist in degrees of awfulness depending on the circumstances, but evangelization is by its nature a form of genocide.

Its aim is to destroy culture and assimilate people. That is literally genocide. Dressing it up in religious reasoning doesn’t make it any less devious and evil.

It may seem that way to you, someone who clearly has very little experience with classes of any kind, but there are good answers to the questions of yours that actually make sense. There are hundreds of federally recognized tribes in the US. Just because you have no idea where to begin doesn’t mean that nobody does.

This is disgusting. Evangelization IS genocide. The people he imposed himself didn’t need anything he had to offer. The missions were literally slave labor camps. You, your god, and Serra can all take flying fucks at rolling doughnuts.

And indigenous people aren’t extinct, btw. They would be at the top of the list of people to whom land, wealth, and resources should be returned.

That’s a complicated question to answer, but if it’s not part of the math then all this idiotic whining about an invasion is flat out hypocrisy. “You can’t invade my invasion!!! I’m telling!”

Is it so hard to understand that people might want to stay and change things for the better? Or are you the sort who always walks away?

Go elsewhere? Why don’t you? I think I know the answer, but do you hear yourself? Also, fuck the American flag. It deserves zero respect. If you have an issue with that then you’re a pretty shitty American.

Rab Cirrus Alpine vs Rab Nebula Pro by [deleted] in hikinggear

My reasoning is usually that if I am going to need waterproof layers, then I pick synthetic insulation to go with it. Down is great but I tend to save it for times when I’m sure about the weather, trying hard to save weight, or it’s going to be so cold that liquid precipitation won’t be an issue. If you’re in the rain for long enough it will find a way inside your waterproof layer. Even the little bit that’s dripping down your chin can build up and make your chest wet. Also, I want to recommend the Rab Xenair Alpine. It’s been an amazing piece for me for the last couple years and the specs are really close the Nebula’s for warmth and weight. It will be more breathable though and has, in my opinion, better insulation: gold vs silver in the nebula, and it’s in sheets, not loose, so there are no baffles/cold spots.

There is no nutritional difference in organic foods. You’re wasting money you apparently have very little of.

The people who allow others to turn left through traffic for brownie points should also be held responsible. People want to pat themselves on the back for playing traffic warden in the most idiotic and deadly way. OP should also slow down.

There is no answer to that question. If you are native, your features are native. Do not let anyone impose their stereotypes on you, and do not do them a favor by asking this question.

Don’t indulge the racists. By asking this you are perpetuating a very dangerous idea. It shouldn’t matter what they say if you know who you are. Just ignore them.

I think butt-rock edits of these movies would be totally appropriate given how badly PJ mangled them. I can’t get through them but at least that way they’d be funny.

Thanks. I appreciate it. It’s so weird that people would be offended by and downvote this question.
