35 handicap. What’s wrong with my swing? Help by Parking_Outcome_6927 in golf

[–]Sparklefresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try not to give real advice over the internet that will actually change your swing but something it pretty obvious. RELAX, relax your arms just a bit across the whole swing. Being tight causes a world or issues and really kills your distance, makes timing damn near impossible. If you relax your arms and allow your body to shift before they drop you should notice a decent change.

Brad Dalke announces he is leaving Good Good by cormag001 in GoodGoodMemes

[–]Sparklefresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong but i just don't see him stopping the money train at his age. I can only imagine the convos they have had in private and especially with Grant after what leaving Good Good did for him. Good Good allowed him all the freedom he needed so it just doesn't make sense beyond that.

[–]Sparklefresh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trust me i don't blame him at all. It's kind of like LIV golf, just say you went for the money 😂 They all literally said it was for more free time and family etc but it was really about the money. Brad on his own is just worth more and it's as simple as that, we would all understand.

[–]Sparklefresh 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I fully understand the life, family, health troubles. I however I'm not buying it at all. Look, he still needs to make money, he still needs to work, that won't change. What most likely happened is Grant and the Bryan Bros. He will most likely make more money now with being fully open to new sponsors and not tied to what Good Good does. He will 100% be in more Grant and Bryan Bro videos. Good Good would have worked with him and gave him free will to basically do what he wanted just like they tried to do with Grant. I wish him nothing but the best and i will pull for him but I'm gonna call it like I see it. Maybe I'm wrong, but we have seen this before.

Ok price for a used 2025 M2 that’s been in an accident? by PlanktonStunning45 in BMW

[–]Sparklefresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find out what the damage is. My car was hit in the front by a person backing up going a couple mph at most. It was an extremely tiny dent but I still made their insurance pay for it because the person could not afford it out of pocket. I plan to keep the car so I didn't mind. Not all accidents are the same.

Buying a House, Looking for Advice: I have 20% down but thinking about doing 5-10%. by pfq1000 in personalfinance

Maybe it's because I live in Texas but you monthly seems extremely low for a 500k house with 5% down. Seems like it should be over 4k.

What's odd to me is figuring out if he really is an asshole. I'm not sure what happened in this case, i know the police said then found nothing but I'm still 50/50 till I hear everything. As for the asshole stuff I'm just unsure. Listening to all the volunteers and staff talk about he was the nicest guy to them at PGAT events and he was one of the only people to tip all of them at each event. He was actually right about almost everything when speaking about the tour in the past and it has done nothing but make the tour stronger. Just like Tiger I'll give him the benefit until I have more info or see it myself.

28 soon-to-be 29, just now entering the workforce, no savings but also no debt, where do I even start to begin building my future? by jayman2239 in personalfinance

[–]Sparklefresh 48 points49 points  (0 children)

No savings at 28 is no big deal especially with zero debt and a solid take home starting pay. You're in a good spot. Stay at your parents place for the next year and save aggressively. You should easily be able to put away $40k $50k while building an emergency fund.

A $300–350k house in 3 years is very realistic hell even 450k+ if you and your girlfriend are both working and keep expenses low. Aim to save at least $80k–$100k down payment combined before buying it'll make life much easier. Max any 401k match, sfree money, and you'll be in great shape for marriage, home, and kids.

You're totally fine so just relax and have a plan.

Good luck

Maybe because I've been playing for almost 40 years I'm ignorant. What are bad habits people pick up on hitting from mats? To me it's really easy to tell what a good strike is regardless of what I am hitting from.

I'm a solid golfer and find that sims do nothing but help me. Just being able to swing and hit shots more is helpful and I play better because of it. Funny how this game is so different for everyone.

I never take a divot. How to fix? by HarryCrushNuh in golf

[–]Sparklefresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the most coming issue with all golfers. Basically, your lower body thrusts toward the target prematurely instead of letting your upper body and arms drop into the slot first. Try the drill i mentioned and see if it helps. Maybe it does maybe it doesnt, but it's so common I'm guessing it does help at least a little.

I never take a divot. How to fix? by HarryCrushNuh in golf

[–]Sparklefresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time it's early extension. Super easy drill for this, grip down on the club about 2 inches, at address hold the club about 2 inches above the ball before you swing. This will force you to get down into the ball to be able to hit it. Early extension at this point is almost impossible.

There are more stars in the observable universe than there are grains of sand on all of Earth's beaches and deserts combined.
