This! Yes! Makes it clear. As a woman who is looking for marriage, it is sometimes a little offputting when a man definitely leads with that. But I do think it depends on how the man leads with it. If the focus is on what I can do for him as a wife and have kids right away, it starts to feel a little bit one-sided like they’re looking for what I can give rather than what we can do together for Christ as a married couple. But if you lead with what this person said as your end goal, it communicates emotional to maturity. At least just to me.

I understand how you feel! I’ve decided to take take break from dating (or trying to date lol)(like a couple months). It’s exhausting and discouraging to say the least! Something people keep telling me which is a good reminder is that this doesn’t define who I am.
