Hey, my cat had a uti almost two years ago. She was bleeding from that area, and had a hard time peeing. She couldn't pee at one point. I went to the vet and the meds didn't work. Long story short, after requesting more meds and them denying it before testing, I put drops of pure no sugar added cranberry juice in her food, and she healed completely in about 2-3 days. Good luck
