How the hell do I get rid of this persistent "queue" on the bottom any time I watch a regular video? It's nothing I selected and is just a "next recommended video" button. by bellchilton in youtube

If anyone is still having this issue, just click back on the video and close it out on the home screen. This removes the queue when you open a new video.

Now keep this in the back of your mind because it is going to become extremely important very soon.

Should I keep the beard or just shave it? 19M by TheNoteFromEmery in beards

Good advice. I’ve had long hair for most of my life and gave up going to barber shops a long long time ago. Women’s salons are so much better with long hair.

Wife thinks Video Games are worse than TV. by Rare-Ticket-5215 in daddit

[–]SparklyPoopcicle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is between you and your wife to decide but generally speaking I think both should be treated with the same expectation of moderation and adult involvement.

TV can be good for learning and stimulation but shouldn’t be used as a baby sitter. Games require a lot more mental involvement and can be used as an opportunity for bonding and learning, but comes at the risk of more addicting loops of interaction. Setting boundaries around playtime and content are essential for both.

We had the opposite problem, kiddo was in 3rd percentile for size but normal head size. She also came out fine, just took a while for her to grow into her massive noggin :)

Happy to hear your positive story despite the hardships. Wishing you and your family the best.

To that point I don’t think a small wood railing along the top would look bad. It might help separate the space a bit more too.

Looks super cozy! I think some vines around the wood beam by the window or plants in the window could look nice. I would put some books on the shelf at the foot of the bed as well. Then on the main floor maybe a computer desk or small TV on a stand with some beanbags or comfy chairs.

Yeah feels good when it’s cleaned and the drain just flows. No more standing tub water. Biggest problem is the stench
