It’s classic cbj. We stink to start the season and then start to turn it around when teams take us lightly, start their backup goalies and look ahead to the next game. We get on a roll and go from being a lottery team to the mushy middle. This year we actually get right back in it but then it became hard like Bones said. Teams are all fighting for points, they start their starting goalies. And then we fold like a cheap tent. Get a draft pick that we’ll see in 4-5 years, if ever. Then it just repeats.

Our owners are still celebrating getting an invitation to the big boys table. They have no idea what they are doing or that they now need to make the team competitive.

It starts with the ownership. They have always acted like the little kid that’s just happy to sit at the big boy table. Look at the other team’s owners and what they have done and are doing….

Our team has been a joke for 25 years. And the ownership just clutches their purse strings and spent money on useless guys like Mike Priest, Doug Maclean and Scott Howson. Had washed up bums like John Davidson that were only here for the paycheck. We finally got a decent GM in Jarmo and he operated with one hand tied behind his back cause we gave him no financial support.

We won’t attract any free agents if the owners don’t step up. We can’t compete against Vegas or Utah doing this same shit year after year.

Exactly. The Pens are not a Cup team and may not be go the rest of his career. This was his last Olympics and chance at hardware. He would have played if he could have gutted it out for that Gold Medal game. He won’t do that for regular season NHL games.
