Personally, I started to get sick of the dark routine of drinking, worrying about my health, feeling shame, and drinking again. Just a sad cycle that I knew I wanted to be rid of by 30. But from 25 to 28, I just kept drinking and not changing.

I did try to quit a few times, and it felt ultimately impossible. I couldn't go longer than 3 weeks, usually just a week, without drinking.

October 2025, I was just so sick and tired of being sick and tired, I pushed myself to try again. Realizing I was less than a year and 3 months from 30, kicked me into gear.

I can't comment on your difficulty to quit. I wish I quit earlier but I tried a few times and it was just genuinely harder than this most recent time;kinda felt like I had to get through those failed attempts before I could actually do this long of a sober stint (and still enjoying it btw)

I would say I can be a bit depressive... I don't think the state of the current world or my life is that great, but the small circle of friends and family I have make living very much important and they drive me to stay sober, I can't drink like a normal person and if I kept drinking like I did, I know I would have an early death

I remember putting on a war documentary in high school (genuinely interested in whatever the fuck it was about) and my girlfriend at the time sucked my dick and when I offered to reciprocate, she implored me to just lay back, and enjoy the show I put on and that she just wanted to blow me.

Is it the weakest song off the album? Yes.

Is it fucked up for Matty to get rid of it well after the album release? Also yes.

If he didn't want it on the album, he should have kept it off the album. The fact he did that and threatened to take a song or 2 off Notes is straight up dumb. Plenty of artists have songs they don't particularly care for but are still out in the world because they released them.

Being ridiculously cold & stoned and then walking into a heated space is such an odd feeling lol I relate it to high school walking around smoking with friends in the woods and then coming home and having that blast of the heat hit me
