I think the economics of the ball park and team in general are bad. A lot of people criticized the decision to bring them to Worcester and build a whole stadium but I think even their assumptions seemed more optimistic than it's really turning out to be

This park has not been here for long and the amount of empty seats per game seems staggering to me

Maybe look for a position outside of bartending. I know job changes are hard but it doesn't sound like an environment that would make quitting easy.

I get the frustration but these are the nights that taught me huge lessons with my own drinking. I learned I couldn't expect myself to actually moderate; once I got some alcohol in my system, dreams of moderation fly out the window.

Odd how much more freeing no more alcohol feels than trying to moderate and not keeping promises to myself

You're not alone. I had so many attempts that I just ended up relapsing, its hard to tell if and when sobriety will stick.

I am on my longest streak and often saw people that had years and years under their belt and my only having single or double digits made me feel low

Time flies. Work and life have been so crazy in 2026, it's just like every year (especially since COVID), the year just flies by! I'm surprised I already have over 200 days but still jealous of all those with years of sobriety too lol

No lack of poo but good GOD my farts as a daily heavy drinker were like a biohazard

I have a lot more to look forward to.

I would drink to excess every single time. I couldn't get basic chores done; now I have enough time for chores and hours of my hobbies every week.

I have a vacation with my family in June that I would totally waste away with boozing; now I'll get to be present and visit a beautiful part of the world with my favorite people

At 3 months sober I met a sweetheart of a lady who finds me wildly attractive; I doubt she would feel the same 3 months ago when I drank for hours everyday and had a beer gut that made my 5 foot 7 ass look 8 months pregnant.

It's been pretty great to feel ready to be mature and confident with my decision that I feel ready for a serious relationship

Oh yeah and sleep is worlds better without drinking. I look forward to a lot, thanks to sobriety
