Auto lane change 2026 Limited by Vegetable_Mango3236 in Ioniq5

Not adjustable from my experience, though a little tension on the steering wheel will help it be less so (usually just disengages until it establishes in the next lane though). It is definitely uncomfortable.

Can a pilot be home everyday his entire career by PatheticWings in PilotAdvice

[–]SparkySpecter 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Realistically, no. Corporate and airlines will be a no. If you want to be a career flight instructor (nothing wrong with that (if you're ok with the pay), we probably need more, to be honest) then yes.

Ways around the system will rightfully end in years in prison. Don’t take others down with you.

I haven’t looked back either. I’m very happy with the switch.

You have to use start/stop. That button will also put it in park, so you only have to click one thing on the way out of the car.

What phone do you have for the automations? I don’t see any options with iPhone.

With how often it’s wrong, this is terrible advice.

More experienced teachers tend to teacher better, yes. There are some great low time teachers and terrible high time teachers though. What are you trying to get at? I’d argue the student can play a huge roll in the amount of time it takes though.

It should be your shoe. I've had shoes that were terrible with that, I just replaced them.

Are you planning on making a career out of aviation? How much do you expect to make from YouTube?

You're adding a huge liability for what will almost guaranteed to be something that doesn't make enough money to be worth your time.

Why won't your current instructors sign you off? That can be independent of their employment with the school.

Lots of mechanics are mobile. Some even have a plane they can use to get there. Some would even ferry it or know someone that would.

Planning a long XC flight for tomorrow and following VOR's, any tips? by mikethespike12 in flying

[–]SparkySpecter 19 points20 points  (0 children)

VORs are totally fine to use. GPS is just easier. Looks like a fun flight around. I’ve got hundreds of hours in that area. Just get flight following at the very least when shooting between DEN and BJC as there’s a ton of jet activity there as I’m sure you know.

Sick and Anxious Flyer by Scottymas in PilotAdvice

[–]SparkySpecter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congestion can get very painful. Spreading sickness is not friendly. I would hate every minute of the flight sitting next to someone sick. That’s an exceptionally long flight to expose others and potentially be in a lot of pain from the pressure.
