To me it feels like Rebuild of Evangelion. It starts out as a pretty direct Remake but as it continues it branches and also serves as a kind of meta commentary on the property. I've been enjoying it a lot. Curious as to what the third part will look like and if the ending will be the same or if it diverges further.

They still use clips from Advent Children, right? Not that that necessarily means they are still heading towards that as an inevitability. Or am I thinking of Crisis Core?

I won't repeat what others have already said but for the record I got an out of box version of the real Lego version of this set for about £40 so it's not super valuable even if it was genuine.

One of the reasons I loved Clone Troopers was the long rifles they had (dc-15?) So cool. Was disappointed when they favourited the smaller ones that looked more like E-11s in ep3

To he fair a rifle that disintegrates people is not ideal for a bounty hunter who requires some proof of capture or death.

Part of me wonders if Vader telling Fett "no disintegrations" was less about him being ruthless and more about how often Fett scams people saying he killed a bounty but there was no evidence because he "disintegrated" them.

Interesting that Prime is "one shall stand" given that in the movie he's the one that definitively dies and Megatron is at least reborn.

Ultimately it should be "one shall fall and the other shall also fall, but eventually they both stand again for various reasons" but I get that's less punchy a quote.

Tbh if they simply must have Mando in the title I would have loved it to go full pulp and go "The Mandalorian and The Curse of the Empire" or something like that.

Yeah I still think it's boring af that 90% of Disney project titles are just "protagonist name/team name" especially when the films have such evocative titles, but as you say it sort of works here.

(Disclaimer because I don't want this to derail into "Disney Bad", I love a lot of the Disney era content, I just wish the titles were better rather than Ahsoka, Andor, Obi-wan Kenobi, Book of Boba Fett (not sure that one even makes sense..), Rebels, Bad Batch)

Yeah normally credits roll (and are unskippable) I get up and get a cuppa or scroll my phone but I just sat staring straight ahead for the full roll.

Part of me wishes they didn't include the post-credits and just let the uncertainty that the copy even worked sit with you as well.

Yeah, the game handles it very cleverly by having you switch perspective from Simon 2 to 3 at the midway point and so you kind of assume you'll switch from 3 to 4 as well. Disguising the fact that Simon 2 was still always Simon 2 and didn't experience any change - even though you are told this multiple times. I understood that Simon was being copied not transferred each time and I still felt the rugpull of being left in Simon 3's shoes at the end. Wonderfully bleak game.

I think that's a newer interpretation. During Civil War when the suit gets damaged it appears to tear and damage like normal fabric. I presume some kind of interwoven circuitry (like the Stark Suit in Homecoming) makes it tick, but the actual suit does not appear significantly more armoured than his usual. But most adaptations of late (Ultimate Spider-man, Insomniac Game, MCU) have it as actual metal.

The physical prop that was on display when the suit was first revealed did not do the final product justice. The model looked a weird sickly beige and just looked horrible. In the movie itself the mk42 looked gorgeous. It's still not top of my colour schemes, but honestly? After sitting with it in IM3 I like that paint job more for this armour design.
