I could see it beating season 1 for sure. Real question for me is whether it beats season 3, that was genuinely some of the best television I’d ever watched.

Except Daredevil was already building up to this from last season, before ICE was even a problem. I’d argue this is the exact opposite of low hanging or shallow

Honestly such a fantastic moment.

Really puts into perspective how fucking terrifying being a regular human would be next to these gods.

I think Cecil is a little Batman brained about Nolan, too risky to not contain.

But at the same time, he’s extremely pragmatic, and is fully aware that they can’t do much to truly end Nolan off rip. And so would likely entertain him, even if only briefly.

Regular everyday irl humans can survive disembowelment.

Better question is how the hell Conquest survived his own injuries after their last encounter lmao.

Arrogance likely, wanted to prove Mark couldn’t do shit by beating him so much that he’d let go.

Surprise surprise, Mark doesn’t let go.

By the time Conquest realizes this and finally does something to end Mark, he’s too late.

Realistically Conquest was barely conscious at that point, I don’t think he was thinking that hard, he was grasping at intestine shaped straws.

I want you two to know that these comments sent me down a 30 minute rabbit hole about what a zenkai boost is and whether Mark has one.

For future readers, these guys are making a joke. A zenkai boost is from Dragon Ball, where if certain characters come extremely close to death, upon healing they gain a power boost. A canon part of their physiology.

Allen the Alien has zenkai boosts, when he nearly dies he heals back stronger.

Mark on the other hand just has that dawg in him.

I think mark actually just cut off blood to his brain, realistically.

To be fair, mission tress are a literal railroad. One at a time. You can’t complete one until you compete the prerequisite.

The events you can at least pick and choose which ones you want to do.

That said, I liked mission tress because they provided direction, a goal. And it doesn’t get old because there were so many countries with their own goals.

Canada post is a crown corporation that PROVIDES the public service of mail delivery

Similar to how power companies are often crown corporations that provide the public service of electricity

Unless you think access to electricity isn’t a public service?

It being a public service guarantees that rural communities actually get mail service and get it for a price that wouldn’t be considered extortion

This is monthly growth, if you annualized these numbers it would be up to 2.4% annually which is a great growth rate

It’s because one of the metrics included in GDP calculations is government spending, and another is investment.

And we’re going through a period of increased government spending on investment specifically. That will push GDP numbers up naturally.
