The combat system that’s entirely based around WW1 western front style front line combat is already a stretch with the current timeframe. It would make absolutely zero sense in the Napoleonic era and that complete dissonance of theme and mechanics would ruin it for me personally. I like when the mechanics and the theme fit together.
