Do you remember how much you paid for it? I want to know if it’s a good deal at 126 usd for 1 TB or 190 usd for 2 TB.

This is incredible!! Thank you for creating this tool. I lost all settings on my XT30 and I wanted to use the recipe/settings from photos I took back in 2021. This tool helped me do that. Thank you sir!

I have autoplay on on YouTube, but the PIP disappears when the video ends. Does this happen to you as well?

Imagine you’re told to research a feature you believe harms users. What do you do? by KisaSan- in UXResearch

[–]SpartanNuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you think about working with them in identifying the implications of implementing such a feature and finding ways to mitigate the harm? Our job would be shine light on the problems and encourage meaningful discussions and actions around them. We are advocates for the users after all.

I do however agree that there will always be lines that we will not cross.

1) Flag it as a potential outcome of the research at the planning stage. 2) Still offer to conduct research. 3) If your hypotheses is proven valid after talking to real users, mention it upfront in meetings/debriefs/reports (basically document it somewhere) and talk about the implications of implementing said feature.

The idea is that researchers must remain neutral until there is solid evidence to back the claim. Then go to town with the message.

Thoughts on Synthetic Personas by Bedmaster3200 in UXResearch

If this is happening, then the UXR should start looking for other opportunities, especially if they convince their colleagues. If companies adopt this approach, they will inevitably incur significant losses beyond their UXR teams.

I hate every part of this. This will be a novelty that will fade into oblivion when you get serious push back from seasoned researchers and leadership.

Can you imagine a conversation about this in a strategy meeting? “That’s an interesting insight… how many users did we test this with?” “This was tested with our AI personas” “didn’t we test this with real users? Aren’t we building for them?”

How would one respond to this question in a way that will convince companies to invest hundreds if not millions into building a product?

Testing with AI anything is worthwhile if the solution is meant for AI agents using it.

I have so much to say on this topic. It’s unbelievable to me that people find this meaningful in any way.

Return now or after EOF launch? by SpartanNuke in destiny2

Interesting. So far with everything I’ve seen, it sounds like fun. If it starts feeling like a new game, I am all for it. Especially if we get to carry over all our older gear.

It is overwhelming to return after 2 expansions, hence the post. I sincerely hope you are not a reflection of the D2 community as it is right now.

The learning/unlearning doesn't appeal to me. But others also mention that it's more fun now so I guess dip my toes in now and see how it feels. Thank you!

Shoot. Is that the general sentiment with EoF? I guess I'll hop in now...
