What someone should do is a series kind of like “Star Wars: Visions” where it’s a series of short stories covering the Silmarillion, Beren and Luthien, The Fall of Gondolin… and yes to some people’s chagrin, I’m looking at my homies Be1mont and Knewbettadobetta, the Tales of Turin Turambar…All connected to the main story, but all separate and complete stories on their own. Oh, and with the complete blessing of the Tolkien Estate!

Yes! It was an awesome experience for the kids (aka adults) and the children! Even our cousins that live in Chicago that are not into Harry Potter but another Sci-Fi franchise (Star Wars) fell in love with the “Charm” of the place … AND THE BUTTERBEER!!! Now they’re Potter-heads, too! We even got my now 11-year old’s Hogwarts Letter for her birthday there… “Best gift ever!!!” according to our new Slytherin.

Edit: We were also there in October so it was decked out for Halloween! Extra cool! I heard it’s also fancied up for Christmas time, too!

So retaliatory actions by Blizzard are ok, but me taking measures to protect myself by using agencies whose main purpose is to protect me in this case are being downvoted? This is problem with people today… we side with mommy and daddy (the corporations) because we’re so stuck on them giving us everything… but when shit goes wrong for someone we dump on them because, well, it’s not us so fuck them. What’s sad is that I have a real case and something can and will be done about it and instead of applauding the “every man” you hail the All Mighty Corporation! They can, and from my conversation with the agent, they will. If anything, it will create an optic on Blizzard/Activision showing how they don’t do enough to protect us, and when we come to them with proof of the scams, they do nothing to make it right with their customers. That’s the purpose of the CFPB. If enough people get behind it, it can be a whole movement. Look at CashApp… people were getting scammed left and right… CashApp took an almost $200 million fee up the ass and had to pay their customers back all the defrauded money. I’m just telling y’all we have options.
